Colin Farrell & Elizabeth Taylor were Best Friends

Here goes the story of Colin Farrell & Elizabeth Taylor:

They became friends in the last one & a half year of Taylor’s life who died lately of congestive heart failure. How they became friends is unclear but Taylor had publicly praised Colin Farrell.

“How did we become friends? You know, the old story of boy meets girl, the boy pesters girl with too many phone calls at inappropriate hours of the night,” Farrell, 34, tells Access Hollywood.

“I was just lucky enough to become her friend in the last year and a half,” the actor added. “I adore her…still.”

He was one of the few non-family members at Elizabeth Taylor’s funeral. It was a private funeral where this Irish actor recited a poem.

Elizabeth Taylor spoke of her fondness for Farrell in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

“I love Johnny Depp, and I love Colin Farrell,” she told Kim Kardashian, who took the interview.(Yeah Kim doesn't just have a big ass; she also conducts interviews)“They’re both brilliant, nuanced actors with great range.”

Colin Farrell admits he’s having a hard time coping with the loss of his friend. “I just miss her,” he said.

I think we should become friends with people while they are alive. Once they are gone, you can't make anything right. But Colin Farrell had been lucky enough to be a pal of Elizabeth Taylor. Since he was at the funeral, it means he must have been a close buddy. Which reminds me that even James Dean was a friend whose story had been in the limelight after this sad demise.

Ali Zafar & his annoying grin

I had the misfortune to watch Lipton’s ad a number of times yesterday while watching cricket. Ali Zafar happens to be the man who has ruined the ad. It’s hard to believe that a singer doesn’t have a good voice. On top of it, he used to be a model. But in all these years, this man still hasn’t discovered the art of smiling properly. It’s his fake grin which has been a source of headache. Although he was talking about his source of inspiration in the ad. One sip of Lipton tea might inspire him but it had a bad effect on all of us, poor viewers. We didn’t want to see his damn face but we were made to go through agony of strange nature.


He’s good looking but he should keep his mouth shut. And when he’s earning zillions of bucks out of ads, he should at least learn how to smile. It’s about time I guess.


I don’t find anything sexy about him, however. He doesn’t have any personality & his grin is quite annoying. And he’s seen in just every ad. It must be the contagious grin that makes everything easier for him. I’ve observed that he makes his voice more husky when he talks. He might be an ardent fan of Kishore Kumar but that doesn’t make him Kishore Kumar. Oh yes there’s nothing I like about this guy!

Sonakshi’s twitpic angered her Pakistani fans

It’s just occurred to me that Sonakshi jee is not just fat, but she’s like any dysfunctional person who goes mad after watching cricket. And she takes victory even more badly than how our nation has taken defeat.

Anyhow, this twitpic showed Pakistan skipper Shahid Afridi getting whacked on his butt by an Indian batsman Shewag, and Sonakshi added the caption ‘De ghumaaaaake! Hehehehahahaha.’

I like the way she laughs :P hehehehahaha It’s really hilarious, so to speak.

Naturally her Pakistani fans couldn’t stand this image. She got zillions of hate replies from her fans who started un-following her. They do find this image quite insulting. Moreover, there was no need to publish an unethical picture on her twitter. Maybe it’s her sense of humor. I’m shocked that her Pakistani fans were not aware of it.

One message read: “u shouldnt be doing dis, ur father never did dis kind of thing, not even sallu bhai, learn something from them.” Another message said: “Sonakshi just because of this cheap act of yours . . . I am unfollowing you.” Some even said that Sonakshi doesn’t have any class. Good to know that they know it now.

“You should be a goodwill ambassador between your country and other countries, itna har waqt salman khan salman khan karti rehti ho..usse hi kuch seekhlo tum” reads another reply. But Indian fans liked her zeal and guts and praised her for ‘Dabangg’ act.

However, Sonakshi jee realized that she has hurt the sentiments of her fans from Pakistan, and asked them to take the tweeted image in good spirit: “Pak fans very upset. jung ke maidan mein ladne se toh accha hi hai khel ke maidan mein ladein! I am all for love thy neighbour. Be a sport yaar.”

But her last status update was not that positive either:” We have won. Bolti bandh”

This is what happens to people after winning the match. I don’t see any difference between her attitude & that of some Pakistanis. Even after upsetting her fans, she couldn’t help gloating about her victory. And what was the need of uploading that pic anyway? They had won the match. What was the bloody, fucking point?

An artist doesn’t have any boundary & Sonakshi jee has just proved otherwise.

How can you abandon your team now?

I have been reading that enthusiasm on the part of players wasn’t enough. People should have prayed more & they could have won. And more importantly, the team made the same mistakes. We have critics in every corner who will tell you that dropping catches & leaking run had been grave mistakes. And it’s all about fixing the blame on the players.

There ought to be too much pressure on players. We shouldn’t forget that. It’s not how nobodies are playing cricket at home. Well I think it’s sheer luck factor & yes India is a better team. They played better than us.

It’s ridiculous how people are saying that cricket has died. And they have also changed their display pics on FB. How can they desert their own team? They are still bitching about Misbah. Batting line just failed. They should accept it rather than bitching about one player. And what the hell do they expect in one day cricket? It’s all luck. It’s not test cricket. Shame on the nation for abandoning their team!

What I find weird is that Afridi had to apologize to the nation. This is just a game. Why can’t we take a game as a game? Right now people are depressed & they hate the team. When they win, you love them & when they lose, you just can’t stand them. This is abnormal behavior.

Everyone was making really low jokes & they were so confident that we would win. Pepsi’s horrendous ad ‘Kuch yaad aya’ is one such example.

I’ve read terrible stuff written by educated people of Pakistan, naturally I don’t expect much of illiterates. People were so excited & happy about the matches & that’s a good thing. But they should also take defeat without complaint, & victory without gloating & thinking too much of themselves. They are totally banking on prayers & then they hate the players for losing the match.

Instead of bitching about Misbah & Umar Gul, they can talk about Wahab Riaz. But no, we will just talk about negative stuff. If this had happened, we might have won. Is winning everything? Do we discard people in our lives when they fail? And if we do, it only speaks about our own character. I think Pakistan deserves better people who can accept defeat with grace. It requires a lot of courage. Anyone can dance when good things happen.

There is one other man I’d like to badmouth & that is none other than ‘It’s already raining boundaries in Mohali.’ I find Mr. Ravi very biased. He was talking about barring luck factor. You can’t do that in one day cricket. He’s not a good commentator. He looks & sounds drunk all the time.

Satanism Is On The Rise - Warns Catholic Church

Internet has changed life immensely over the years. It has at least made it quite easy to get loads of information conveniently. Now, the Roman Catholic Church has warned people that Satanism is on the rise because of internet. In turn, the demand for exorcists has risen too.

People use the internet to find information on devil worshipping and the occult according to the experts at a six day conference being held this week in Rome. This has too many dangers for the younger people as they are highlighting because it is so much easier to get in touch with Satanic groups because of internet.

In the conference, priests and psychologists are trying to share information on exorcism, Satanism and sects. They want to inform priests and families of the risks that young people can face emotionally, mentally and physically.

According to the Vatican's chief exorcist, the Devil is already gaining strength in the Vatican, which is the very heart of the Catholic Church. Thus, there the red light is already on and people should think about these things more seriously.

Well, I do believe in the power of internet. It is much stronger than we know and some people just pass these things lightly cause they are don't do it themselves. However, there are all sorts of people who have access to the net and all kinds of businesses and activities are going on. Kids and the younger people are particularly influenced and targeted to get attention also. I guess, people should keep these things in mind and not over look them.

Christina Aguliera was stupid enough to leave her camera’s memory card in a French hotel & ever since that incident hundreds of her intimate photos have been leaked. Christina is going out with Matt Rutler. I think most of us do not give a damn to it. So let’s come to the point:

A selection of images reportedly show the new couple kissing passionately in a variety of locations. Another shows them lying in bed together. There are also images which show Christina in a series of compromising & provocative poses, including mimicking oral sex on a banana (that's one reverential attitude towards blowjob) , dancing on a table, posing with naked men, and posing for before-and-after make-up shots.

I think the description is so that one might get excited. I haven’t searched for them as yet & I am not making any promises. My popular posts actually tend to depress me, cause I work hard on every story…not just the trashy ones but people are only interested in crap.

However, this is not the 1st time people have seen her explicit private shots. In December too, a series of images were published in which she went through various stages of undress.

Her leaked nude photos are considered quite hot. She’s more like Viagra for the eye. Naturally when she forgets something as important as her camera’s memory card, some opportunist will steal & sell those photos. We can’t drag in morals over here. You have to be careful or you get into deep shit. There’s also a possibility that she’s doing this for publicity.

You can expect anything of celebrities. After all, they are exciting, adventurous people just like you all.

Anyway, it’s pretty obvious that Rob Lowe has only good things to say about people & some media people just don’t like it. They believe he has to work with them, so he can’t say anything mean. I can’t recall Rob Lowe ever getting into shitty episodes. Maybe this is exactly how he feels about them. It’s okay if he doesn’t tell us everything. And why do we always expect some bitchy revelations from celebrities? Moreover, some people also have issues that he’s promoting his book in this interview.

I like Rob Lowe but as such I don’t like this cover. I think he has looked far more sexier & this is just an okay picture. And his blue eyes are very beautiful.

Capturing ghost in a video

I read this story of paranormal activity yesterday but due to some reason I couldn’t post it. It could be true or it could be a mixture of horror stories we have watched & heard over the years.

However, Lisa Manning & her 2 children have seen bizarre things happening in their house. There is not any plausible explanation & I really don’t think they are making it up but who knows! Pots & pans are being thrown in their house, they hear voices all the time, window blinds move up & down all by themselves, lights are being switched on & off & drawers too are being opened. They have even made a spooky video in which they claim to have captured the ghost. In that video, a chair is moving all by itself. Lisa Manning shot the film 2 weeks ago after putting hidden cameras in the family’s home in Holbrooks, an area of Coventry but many think, after watching the clip that it’s all bullshit.

Lately a priest has blessed this house & now they are all wearing crucifixes. The 52-second clip shows a wardrobe door opening before a pink swivel chair moves slowly backwards towards the wall.

Lisa feels as if she is 'living in a scary movie'. She also said:

'One medium came in and said our house is a portal, a kind of bus stop for spirits, which they use to pass into our world. I set up the video camera because I wanted to prove the ghost exists. I couldn't believe it when I played the tape back, it sent chills up my spine. We called our landlords and they sent in a priest who blessed the house but said himself that we shouldn't live here, we definitely shouldn't stay. He gave us all small crucifixes which we carry at all times in the house. The problem is because we can't see it, we don't know where it's going to be or what it's going to do. This is a horror house. It's like living in a scary movie. The worst thing about it is, even I can't believe what's happening myself.'

Well this is just another spooky story but I don’t believe anyone would like to ridicule himself/herself by making such claims. Weird things happen to people.

Twitter Is Being Ruled By 'Elite' Users

Twitter turned five this month and has revealed some interesting data. It has been revealed that one billion tweets are sent in a week and about 140 million tweets are sent in a day.

However, the interesting thing to note is that it is a fairly small group of 'elite' Twitter users who are generating half of the tweets on the service. Yes, 50% of all tweets read and shared are generated by 20,000 'elite' users that include celebrities, bloggers and organizations.

Although there are 200 million registered accounts on the service but these few 'elite' users are running the main show it seems. Celebrities have the highest number of followers of course.

However, unlike Facebook, individuals do not follow back their followers so it a less social platform in comparison to Facebook where the number of 'likes' is phenomenally higher and people interact a lot more.

Amy Adams To Play Lois Lane In Superman:Man Of Steel

Amy Adams, the 36 year old actress is chosen to play the character of Lois Lane in the new Superman film.

Amy, was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress this year for her role in The Fighter. She has also worked in the 2007 Disney hit The Enchanted.

She will star opposite British actor Henry Cavill, 27, who will play the role of Superman this time. The new film, 'Superman: Man of Steel' will release in 2012. It is the sixth screen installment in the series.

Kevin Costner and Diane Lane will play the role of Superman's adoptive parents.

I don't know for me, Christopher Reeve was the one and only Superman. I am just not even interested in watching anybody else in this character though all these other guys are quite goodlooking. He was such a great actor, too bad he met an accident that made his life so painful and ultimately led to his death.

Broadcasters Ban 'The Simpsons'

Germany, Australia and Switzerland have decided to ban episodes of The Simpsons that make fun of nuclear disasters keeping in mind of what just recently happened in Japan - the radiation issues at the nuclear plant.

The broadcasters said that they will not cut scenes but just ban the episodes with such content. So, far a total of eight such episodes have been banned. In one of the episodes scientist Marie and Pierre Curie died of radiation poisoning, which is not a nice thing to show.

The nuclear plant in Springfield is one of the key elements in the running satirical cartoon that is the highlight of such an action. Though Homer is in charge of the safety but often the story shows negative scenes like once they showed nuclear waste was dumped in children's playground. Similarly, they have shown plutonium used as a paper weight. They have also shown three-eye mutant fish, melt downs and cracked cooling towers during various episodes.

Although the opening credits already clarify the satirical approach but in light of the things in reality, the broadcasters felt it is better to avoid showing such episodes.

What Makes You Genuinely Happy?

The British government is conducting an online survey to come up with a well-being index (at www.ons.gov.uk/well-being) and through this survey they will be able to define well-being and happiness.

Already 7500 people have participated in this debate. ONS is happy to conduct this survey to know what people actually think when it comes to well being and real happiness. In this survey, respondents are asked how satisfied are they with their lives and what is happiness for them.

What you would find interesting are the sort of answers the respondents gave. Really cool to understand human nature though this is what the British people think but we can relate to a lot of things.

So here goes the personal definition of well being for different people:

- Earlier respondents said that job security, personal health and relationships with family members made their lives quite content.

- Some people have grand dreams of a better world.

- While some say that it is the little things in life that make them smile.

- Most people suggested that happiness would improve if there were more public services such as libraries and municipal parks.

- Somebody commented 'Having access to open, green space within walking distance of my home' will be quite satisfying.

- Another person suggested what would increase happiness, 'Access to low-cost facilities that enrich life - e.g. libraries, parks, swimming pools.'

- Interesting thing is that some people have taken it upon themselves to consider what results in a good life, which is a problem that has occupied philosophers from the days of Socrates.

- Another respondent said, 'Happiness is a misnomer. It's much better to be content than happy. Contentment is constant. Happiness is an emotional flick.'

- For some people freedom to do things is more important than happiness.

- Of course, a lot many insisted that unless we have money, we don't really have a choice. So money leads to well-being and happiness.'

- But the best response in my opinion was this one 'The smell of opening a jar of coffee would certainly contribute to my well-being.'

These are all sorts of comments from respondents belonging to various social classes and depicts how happiness varies from person to person. I like how parks, coffee and libraries were a part of the answers.

This is important though, that we should actually know what really makes us happy from within. There might not be a proper lifestyle indicator and measures in our country, well not that reliable for sure, but for our own understanding I guess it would be nice to ponder over the things that make one genuinely happy. Do take out the time to discover the things about yourself.

De Ghumake - Enjoy The Semi Final Tomorrow!

Everywhere we see, there is just one thing on everybody's mind and it is the Pak-India Semi Final match that will take place tomorrow in Mahali, India. I mean literally, on facebook, twitter, television, papers, this is the only topic being discussed.

I now feel cricket is what drives the nation. We breathe on cricket. It is our lifeline. Anyhow, I am amazed to see how a game can unite people and bring smile on an otherwise depressed nation. I saw how some people are so happy just to see their players play, by wearing the green shirts, and simply by talking about cricket.

This time round, hopes are set really high. But it is so strange that time is just not passing. It has become like the longest of waits. I can see Facebook status updates where the countdown has begun. I don't personally like the insulting and mocking tone of some people though cause a game is a game at the end of the day. But it's a free world as they say.

It is not really a battle field even if we are playing against India. Honestly speaking my Indian friends are excited but I have not seen any insulting updates from their end. Though I feel, both the nations are very similar when it comes to cricket. Very sentimental. Quite emotional!

Having said all that, I would love to send our wishes to Pakistan's cricket team. The pressure's really high on them. Hope they will win the match and make us all proud. But let's focus on enjoying the game. May the best team win.

Whatever the result is let's keep our dignity and give our team respect for providing us some happy and memorable cricket moments. Please no cursing and throwing stones whatever happens!

This was a surprise performance at Vegas Club & she is famous for her surprise shows, besides her outlandish dressing. And yes as usual a lot of people who aren’t her fans couldn’t stand her dressing or lack there of. They believe it would be a lot better if she goes naked, cause it’s getting monotonous. Well I also find this criticism excruciatingly boring now but you know people always think they are right.

This is not the 1st time she has been seen in bodysuit, however.

Anyway, she wasn’t the only singer performing. Her fans also paid tribute to her by singing birthday song to her.

She has turned 25 today, but as usual she will be busy on her special day.

Teacher investigated for his relationship with an 8 year old girl

Neil Wilkes was 29 year old & he committed suicide over this episode as he just couldn’t take it anymore. Even before killing himself, he sent a text message to the little girl that he loved her.

Neil doused himself in petrol & set himself alight in October 2010 after sending this message to the girl: ‘I love you & always will.’

He was a teacher at Pinfold Primary School in Hyde, Cheshire. He used to give private tuition to the little girl. He was also quite closed with the girl’s family & he often accompanied on days out. While the probe never resulted in any court action, Neil was later convicted of harassing the girl’s family. He was also suspended from school. He was totally devastated after the investigation.

His psychologist, Dr Clare Blackburn, told the inquest that three days before his death, on October 20, he had told her he hoped to return to teaching after avoiding being put on the Sex Offenders' Register.

Deputy North Derbyshire Coroner Nigel Anderson said by the time the proceedings were over, Neil was 'reaching the end and had simply had enough'.

'There is a clear trigger which led to his depression and ultimately his death.'

There is no evidence that he had sexual relations with the child but he clearly loved her. He messaged her before taking his life. This again is a very strange story. I couldn’t find details on this case. Everywhere they are saying the same thing. It’s very irritating when you search for the story & everywhere you come across a copy/paste version of it.

I have read stories in which men have been attached to kids, but it’s not sexual interest. They do care. Michael Jackson is one such example but he was treated badly by everyone. We can’t say anything about the innocence of Neil. He took this pretty badly & now he’s dead.

'Procrastination Day' is a global event through which people are promoting positive procrastination in a high-paced, hi-tech world where taking one's time is very important. The day was celebrated yesterday.

It is a norm that people are always in a rush to complete their tasks be it at home or at office. It is becoming a cultural norm. According to 'Procrastination Day' we must take out the time to think about stuff more openly so that we don't lose control over our lives.

The founder of this day is David d'Equainville. He says that putting something off has its own virtues. The virtue is procrastinating lies in the fact that mostly people make mistakes while making quick decisions.

Fast communication is putting more stress on humans. Procrastination, therefore, works as a defence mechanism in the normal day so that we can make choices about the things we should do. We must learn to pause the moment to think out the right route.

Olga Kurylenko Wants To Work With Hugh Grant

Bond girl Olga Kurylenko, the 31 year old actress from Casino Royale has expressed her desire to work with Hugh Grant.

She wants to work in a romantic comedy opposite Hugh Grant - a different sort of movie which one can watch to just relax and eat popcorn. She feels she is unfortunate that nobody ever offered her such a role.

Hugh Grant might be consoled to hear this from a sexy woman such as Olga because it is being assumed that he must be really cursing himself for turning down the role that Colin Firth took in The King's Speech and which won Colin an Oscar.

Wow, I can't believe Hugh Grant didn't accept such a good role. It must be the best role of his life. Perhaps it just wasn't in his destiny and I guess Colin Firth being such a great actor really gave life to the entire story. I doubt if Hugh Grant could have done that.

Natalie only did 5 % of the dancing in Black Swan

Lately body double of Natalie is refuting the statement that Natalie did 85 % of the dance in the movie. According to her, it’s just 5 %.

American Ballet Theatre dancer Sarah Lane has been dancing for the past 22 years & she’s a professional dancer & she says that from a professional dancer’s viewpoint, Natalie doesn’t seem to be a ballet dancer at all. Of course she gives her credit for getting into the head of the dancer & feeling like one but Natalie worked on this just for 1 & a half year. Obviously no one becomes better than a professional in such a short span.

However, Natalie’s fiancé Benjamin Millepied said earlier this week, “It was so believable, it was fantastic, that beautiful movement quality. There are articles now talking about her dance double [American Ballet Theatre dancer Sarah Lane] that are making it sound like [Lane] did a lot of the work, but really, she just did the footwork, and the fouettés, and one diagonal [phrase] in the studio. Honestly, 85% of that movie is Natalie.”

Now the question arises: is Benjamin lying about it or is it Sarah Lane? Who would you believe? Body doubles perfume stunts better than the actor. That’s why they are hired. Anyway, this is what Lane said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly:

“Of the full body shots, I would say 5% are Natalie. All the other shots are me. The shots that are just her face with arms, those shots are definitely Natalie, but that doesn’t show the actual dancing. They wanted to create this idea in people’s minds that Natalie was some kind of prodigy or so gifted in dance and really worked so hard to make herself a ballerina in a year and a half for the movie, basically because of the Oscar. It is demeaning to the profession and not just to me.”

Moreover she also said:

It is just Benjamin who has made a statement & Lane refutes that. We haven’t heard anything from Natalie & the director Darren Aronofsky. I wonder if they would make any statement. Natalie may have grabbed the Oscar for her acting but that doesn’t mean she’s a better dancer than all those who have been practicing it for years.


Actors should take credit for acting & getting into the character. It’s low when they take credit for what stuntmen do for them. I guess this is what’s happening here. It’s a fact that ballet dancers work so hard all their lives. You are quite stupid, if you deny that or want to believe something else. Moreover, had actors been perfect, there would have been no need for body doubles. We give them points for acting but we can’t give them credit for what’s been done by body doubles. I also believe Sarah Lane wouldn’t get anything by making such statements either & it’s really low on the part of Benjamin Millepied who has been blatantly lying to the press.
