Is it not rather our ideals of conduct, of Right and Wrong, our ethics, which are unnatural and monstrously distorted? Why Salman Khan is still single?

Now this question has been answered by his father.
"There's a contradiction in Salman's character. He gets attracted to women from his industry only... his co-stars become his love interests. Once a relationship is established, he starts looking for his mom in them. Now that is not possible," Salim told trade analyst Komal Nahta on ETC's show Bollywood Business.
"A woman who has just started her career can't be doing stuff like preparing meals, washing clothes, looking after kids and yet lead the hectic life of a movie star! This expectation can't be met by a woman who has just started her film career…not even if she tries," reasoned the 74-year-old
According to Salim, Salman suffers heartbreaks because for most of his girls the prime motive is stardom. "I can't say if Katrina is in Salman's life... If a marriage decision stretches for so long, it usually does not happen. It means that the person is not 100 percent sure to get into it…that's why the delay."
"Whenever girls have come into Salman's life, they are looking to be a movie star. So settling down is the last thing on their minds. So the relationships reach a saturation point and then fizzle out."
Well Salman Khan, definitely, deserves the best & we hope he finds someone really nice some day. These actresses are big time bitches. They use him all the time & it’s pretty strange that Sallu Bhai never learns anything.
My observation is that guys always fall for bitches. They say they actually hate them, but they do love them. In fact if the bitch is a sycophant, they love her all the more. But my guy friends have been saying that they fall for sex, not bitches. I also read that BITCH stands for beautiful individual that creates hell. I tend to disagree. Most of the bitches are not even much to look at, besides being unintelligent & cheap. But guys really go for trash I suppose. And Salman Khan is not any different. His women accidentally happen to be beautiful as they are from the film industry.
Anyhow, Salman is definitely irreplaceable & he’s back in Dus Ka Dum on his own terms. He walked out of due to some dispute.
10 No-Cost Strategies to Fight Depression

Believe it or not, but all of it helps. Anyone can fight depression. And yes if a person has moral support, this fight would be a lot easier. Make things easy for mentally ill patients. Just don’t judge them or give them advice. If you can’t understand an illness, it’s okay. You can keep your mouth shut.
Helping out 1 person & making sure that he/she doesn’t commit suicide is, by all means, 100 % success.
Anyway, these are 10 tips that could really help. Also go through the link…I just couldn’t copy/paste everything over here.
1. Don't blame yourself
This is the simplest, cheapest, and most important thing you can do to beat depression.
“You need to be able to own the reality that depression is a physical illness like heart disease, diabetes, and cancer,” says Richard Raskin “You can’t get over it by ‘trying harder’ or adjusting your attitude. It requires acceptance that you have a physical illness that requires attention, and that it makes no sense to blame yourself for it.”
2. Talk about it
It’s not easy, but telling people about your depression is better than keeping it a secret.
“Not everybody is going to understand and be supportive,” says Raskin. “If you have a broken arm, or back pain, or a headache, everybody can relate to those, for everyone has experienced them. Not so with mental illness.”
But even if they don’t entirely understand what you’re going through, friends, family, and other confidants can provide emotional support, help you seek out treatment options, and serve as sounding boards. “Don’t let yourself become isolated,” says Raskin. “To the degree that you can reach out, reach out.”
3. Get regular exercise
It may be the last thing you feel like doing when you’re depressed, but going for a run or hitting the gym can actually make you feel better.
4. Postpone major decisions
Depression can affect your perceptions and judgment, so it’s wise to put off big decisions about your relationships or career until you’re feeling better.
“One of the symptoms of depression is having a negative outlook on many things going on in your life,” says Raskin. “This alters your judgment on almost everything, and you might not be aware of it. So to the extent possible, important decisions should be delayed.”
5. Take care of your health
6. Maintain a daily routine
Sticking to a regular routine as much as possible is important for people who are battling depression.
7. Eat a healthy diet
8. Avoid drugs and alcohol
Although it can be tempting to drink or use drugs, don’t do it.
People who suffer from depression and anxiety often turn to alcohol and drugs to relieve their symptoms, but that strategy tends to be harmful in the long run.
9. Try to sleep well
Depression and a lack of sleep often go hand-in-hand. Sleep problems such as insomnia are common in depression, and for many people a lack of sleep depresses mood.
Much remains unknown about the connection between depression and sleep, and everyone has different sleep needs, but experts recommend that depressed people get enough sleep and maintain a regular sleep-wake schedule.
10. Don't over schedule
Feeling stressed and overwhelmed is a common trigger for depression symptoms. If you’re struggling with depression, it’s important not to over schedule your time and take on more than you can manage. If you have complicated tasks to perform at work or at home, break them up into manageable pieces.
And remember: It’s OK to slow down a bit. “Maybe you can’t work at 100% capacity,” Raskin says. “Maybe you can work at only 75% capacity. Still, that’s an accomplishment.” But, he adds, “if you really can’t function, you have to be compassionate with yourself. You deserve a break; take a sick day, whatever you need.”

Facebook and Twitter to be Included in Curriculum for Student Detectives
I came across this post that now facebook and twitter are officially put on the curriculum for student detectives as it will help them solve many cases especially those including rape, molestation, sexual abuse, cyber bullying etc. This was an area that was not covered properly but through proper training in the future detectives would also focus on these networks thoroughly to find the truth and catch criminals.

New species of fish found in one of the deepest places on Earth

A new species has been discovered in a part of the ocean previously thought to be entirely free of fish.
The findings, in one of the deepest places on the planet, were made by a team of marine biologists from the University of Aberdeen and experts from Japan and New Zealand.
The University of Aberdeen said these latest discoveries helped shed new light on life in the depths of the Earth.
The discovery could mean that there are thousands more unknown fish in hidden depths in the world's ocean. Dr Jamieson said: 'What we found was that indeed there was another unique species of snailfish living at 7,000 metres - entirely new to science - which had never been caught or seen before.
Dr Toyonobu Fujii, a deep-sea fish expert from Aberdeen University, added: 'How deep fish can live has long been an intriguing question and the results from this expedition has provided deeper insight into our understanding of the global distribution of fish in the oceans.'http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-1320454/New-fish-species-discovered-4-5-miles-beneath-Pacific-Ocean-near-Chile.html#ixzz143Csir82
You’re not doing it right, baby!

Mallika Sherawat made lots of promises about Hisss, which turned out to be a big time disaster. We were given false hopes & nothing was delivered. Of course this lady knows how to make witty statements, but it’s about time she should give attention to her acting skills. She has disappointed us. People who wasted 4 hours on her make-up were pathetic, to say the least. She looked quite fake when she turned into a snake. I think everyone involved in that movie worked half-heartedly. The director is the real culprit. She could have made people act. She could have worked on the script. She did nothing of the sort. Mallika Sherwat ought to learn that there is more to life than shedding clothes & surprising people. Since everything has been brutally exploited, she should concentrate on her acting.
The next on my list is Mr. Sahir Lodhi. He hasn’t done anything lately other than the fact that he can’t help imitating SRK 24/7. Maybe he has some identity crisis. Now coming to the question: what do I have against him? He made fun of literary people along with a bunch of nuts few days ago. Those who have seen the clip may know that he went beyond the boundary. He added a new dimension to the word smug. I don’t mean to sound like those artist log, but Literature is not for everyone. You have to have a little open mind to comprehend lots of things that can be beyond your brain cells.
I had the misfortune to watch the new song of Komal Rizvi. It’s the sight more than eyes could bear. I think she’s trying to prove something. Over all, she looks quite cheap. Her dance moves are suggestive, & of course cheap. In fact, she looks a lot like one of my chipkoo acquaintances. You don’t even feel like listening to the song. Moreover, people who badly need to work out don’t do anything about it. And is there no one to tell them, ‘you’re not doing it right, baby’?
Kareena has been fasting & praying for the long life of Saif. I think it only happened for a day, but in return Saif gave her a diamond necklace (I’m sure all her fans know that she loves diamonds). How very materialistic! And what kind of news is this? You may pray & fast for your lover, but the world doesn’t need to know. Nevertheless, this is one unique couple & Kareena happens to be the 1st woman in love. That is invariably the case whenever she falls for anyone. She’s always the 1st woman to be in love.
Ashmit Patel is getting very cozy with Veena Malik in Bigg Boss & they are saying that Sara will have issues with Veena now. Dolly jee is quite an entertainer. Anyway, Veena Malik has done a good job. And then the best thing about Bigg Boss 4 is Salman Khan. Whenever I look at him, I forget everything.

She was taken to an off site adoption event on the weekend and was a sweet girl...not the one that goes in circles in the shelter!

What a beauty!

In some areas bobcats are trapped for their soft spotted fur, which is a pity. They are solitary animals & they are twice the size of an average cat. They can even hunt animals bigger than themselves, but they prefer to hunt rabbits, birds, mice, squirrels & other such small animals.
I wish I could adopt a wild cat some day.
*SINGLE* is NOT a status. It's a word that best describes a person who is strong enough to live & enjoy life without depending on others.
Smokers more likely to be impulsive, indecisive
Researchers of the Charite - Universitatsmedizin Berlin and Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB) have found that a specific region of the cerebral cortex of smokers is thinner than that of people don't smoke.
This region is decisive for reward, impulse control, and the making of decisions.
To investigate the relation between cortical thickness and nicotine dependence, the brains of 22 smokers and 21 people who have never smoked in their lives were investigated with the aid of a magnetic resonance tomograph.
A comparison of the two groups showed that in the case of smokers, the thickness of the medial orbito-frontal cortex is, on average, smaller than in the case of people who have never smoked.
The thickness of this region decreased in relation to the increase in the daily consumption of cigarettes, and depending on how long in their lives the participants in the study had been smokers.
Although it is known from animal experiments that nicotine changes the development of the brain and leads to a damaging of neurocytes, it cannot be ruled out that the reduced thickness of the frontal cortex region found in the case of the participants in the study already existed before they started smoking.
http://www.newstrackindia.com/newsdetails/187528
My comment:
I think frontal cortex region must already be thin in smokers even before they started smoking. I have been impulsive all my life & it’s certainly not because of smoking. It has something to do with my upbringing. Although I’m not a regular smoker but I have been smoking for almost 20 years. I also don’t think that I’m indecisive. If you can’t take one decision, you don’t become indecisive I guess.
They carried out this research on just 43 people. This is a very crucial study. They should have done this on at least 1000 or even more people.
I also think being spontaneous is nothing bad. I don’t know why it’s taken so badly. Plus, non-smokers hold certain rigid views about smokers. For instance, women who smoke are worse than sluts. This is the kind of comparison that one has no stomach to comprehend. And men who smoke are okay, but men who drink are bad. You know a person can be bad without ever doing one bad thing.

Pre-schools & maids
I often hear about pre-schools & sending your kids to pre-schools is a must now otherwise they won’t get admission in good schools. I wonder what do they teach such little kids. And who came up with this idea? Although it’s nothing new but I just don’t understand what was the need. And these pre-schools are pretty expensive too. Which means poor people cannot send their kids to these places & naturally their children will not later on get admission in any good school.
Just like this pre-school shit, they also came with the bright idea of hiring young maids to look after kids few years ago. Those maids themselves are kids. Isn’t it weird to hand over your kids to servants? Well I can't think of handing over my pets to servants even when I'm ill, so I find it weird.
Naturally I couldn’t help thinking that kids must be quite a burden on parents. They are coming up with really bright ideas.
Some mentality!
I just read ‘Talat Hussain’s slap in the face’ & I like Aatekah Mir Khan’s write up.
Angelina Jolie made an honest report about what is happening in this country. That report cannot put any Pakistani in a state of shock, as we know how things are in this country. But Talat Hussain took upon himself the task of besmearing her reputation by digging about her past & calling her characterless & not just that, he thinks if Angelina Jolie had spoken of her deeds as a Pakistani she would have been stoned to death infinite times. And he also thinks that people like Angelina Jolie shouldn’t be given any honor.
God knows who gave him the right to judge this actress. And I just can’t believe that a reporter is talking about Rajm in this manner. This is not an Islamic punishment; it’s a Jewish punishment. Just because it’s on the statute book doesn’t mean that it should be applied on anyone Mr. Hussain doesn’t approve of. He needs to get his facts straight. You can see for yourself how Hudood laws & the god-damn Blasphemy law could be misused by people who only hate & here is one such prime example in which a journalist made a suggestion about it. This is how reporters play with the minds of people & pour their ideas into the heads which can't think.
Although Mr. Hussain is renowned a journalist, but it seems he doesn’t have the character to speak the truth or fight for it. He may regard Angelina Jolie as characterless, but I think she has more of a character than him. She made that report & she was quite shocked at the behavior of big shots when people are dying & have no food, but he's in a state of denial about Pakistan where he lives. She has done a lot of good deeds. She has provided home & love to kids. What has Mr. Hussain done so far? Why the hell is he judging a woman who is sensitive to the needs of others? Oh but then Mr. Hussain may not know such emotions & doesn’t have any clue that a person can help others without expecting anything in return. Angelina Jolie happens to have her heart at the right place. No wonder Mr. Hussain can only throw dirt on others. I think he’s a complex & he has that typical mentality. He just cannot stand a woman who is better than him in every way.

Hisss

Alright. I saw Hisss last night. And I think Jennifer Lynch needed to work a little hard on the story. Mallika Sherawat didn’t have a single dialogue. Thank God we had Irfan Khan in the movie! Jeff Doucette was even worse than Mallika Sherwat. I think it would not be incorrect to call him the worst villain of all time. He was only shouting at the top of his voice.
It’s based on a snake woman (Nagin) who is searching for her partner. He has been captured by the villain who is dying & he wants that precious nag mani as he wants to become immortal. Irfan Khan is the only person who seems a bit convincing besides that other guy who came in Banay Gi Apni Baat. I don’t know his name, but he still looks kind of cute after all these years.
There is nothing juicy in the movie, it’s all ugh, ugh, ugh! Mallika has a history of going a degree ahead every time we see her in any flick. Well there is a funny love making scene with the snake. As much as I hate to admit, but there are things even I don’t like to talk about, because I just can’t.
Nagin & Nagina were definitely better movies. Anyhow, stay away from Hisss. There is no element of surprise as such; it’s just not worth watching.

Renee wants Miss Universe crown & Sallu says no

Sushmita Sen is training her daughter Renee to walk on the ramp these days. Just like her mom, Renee wants to become Miss Universe. (I couldn’t help thinking about one political family in my country in which some kids want to become PM & some kids just like to talk & one of those kids is very fat) And Sush says her baby is going to get the best training possible in the world at home.
I heard Preity Zinta saying on TV that rehearsals & dances are enough to keep her fit & she loves food. But somehow in this particular interview, she didn’t sound all that angrez. (There was a time when I was friends with very snobbish people. Actually I met them in school & I should be the last person to call anyone angrez ki aulad, but then there won’t be any fun in dissecting, if morals come in the picture :P)
I also read one stupid article in which reporters asked Mallika Sherawat a very stupid question. They wanted to know why she doesn’t have an accent as she was abroad for so long. To which she replied that she loves to speak Hindi & why should she have an accent even if she wasn’t here.
You know filmmakers want to promote their movies on Bigg Boss these days & one film which was finalized for the show was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Guzaarish. It never occurred to anyone that it might be awkward for both Salman Khan & Aishwarya Rai. Although Salman Khan is friends with Sanjay Leela & Hrithik Roshan, but he didn’t want to be in that kind of a situation & the channel had no say in this matter. But beyond any reasonable doubt, it was a very beautiful couple.
Last but not least, they say Deepika & Katrina Kaif are now friends.
Got something for you Z

I know you’re my best person, but I do need some space :P
How come in the pic we’re running, I happen to be fatter than you? Now this is not happening.
Having sex twice a week 'reduces chance of heart attack by half'
It shows men who indulge in regular lovemaking are up to 45 per cent less likely to develop life-threatening heart conditions than men who have sex once a month or less.
The study, of over 1,000 men, shows sex appears to have a protective effect on the male heart but did not examine whether women benefit too.
Now the American researchers who carried out the investigation are calling for doctors to screen men for sexual activity when assessing their risk of heart disease.
The results, published in the American Journal of Cardiology, showed men who made love at least twice a week were much less likely to have heart disease than those whose sexual encounters were limited to once a month or less.
In a report on their findings, researchers said the benefits of sex could be due to both the physical and emotional effects on the body.
Men with the desire for frequent sexual activity and who are able to engage in it are likely to be healthier.
But sex in some forms has a physical activity component that might directly serve to protect cardiovascular health.
Also, men who have frequent sex might be more likely to be in a supportive intimate relationship and this might improve health through stress reduction and social support.
An earlier study at the National Cancer Institute in the US showed men who ejaculated through sex or masturbation at least five times a week were much less likely to get prostate cancer.
And sex once or twice a week in winter can boost the immune system and reduce the chances of catching colds and flu, according to researchers at Wilkes University, Pennsylvania.
They found it boosted levels of immunoglobulin A or IGA which binds to organisms that invade the body and then activates the immune system to destroy them.
Regular sex can even boost a woman’s sense of smell by triggering the release of a hormone called prolactin, according to scientists at Calgary University in Canada.
This may be a mechanism to help mums bond with their new babies.

Help! Hundreds of Puppy Mill Dogs Await Justice
In July 2009, after reviewing evidence that ill, lethargic, neglected, and unsocialized dogs were subjected to crowded, filthy conditions at a puppy mill called "Maggic Pets/Heddins Kennels," a Montague County judge ordered owners Carol and Cloyce Heddins to surrender nearly 500 animals to the Humane Society of North Texas. Now, more than a year later, criminal charges have still not been filed, and reports suggest that the Heddins may be back in business.
According to a HSNT report, the nearly 500 dogs were examined by a veterinarian who "said she found something wrong with every one [of the dogs]." The report also stated, "An elderly Chihuahua, suffering from a broken lower jaw, broke the hearts of rescue workers as they watched him eat bits of kibble by carefully manipulating the angle of his head to soften it with saliva before swallowing. One small elderly male poodle, his fur so matted and eyes so encrusted he had become virtually blind, was found and coaxed to safety by rescuers in a field of weeds, which was also hiding a nest of venomous copperhead snakes."
If charges aren't filed soon, these abusers could go free and start breeding and selling dogs all over again. Recent reports indicate that the Heddins may already be back in business with a new hoard of dogs—something that only a court order could stop or prevent.
