31st May 2010

It’s good to be back on FB. But somehow I’m not all that happy. I did miss my friends & it’s good to meet them again. However, I don’t know how to go about so many things that I was used to. Maybe I’m not in a great mood & I have something else at the back of my mind.

It’s very strange though. Whenever I want something bad & I do get it, I never feel that great. Although I don’t feel like crying on such occasions, but some people do. It seems as if I have lost something & I just can’t get away from this feeling of emptiness.

Facebook is Back

Well finally the day has come. My sister, who seriously missed facebook a lot these past few days and who I am sure would have protested like anything against all that happened. Anyway, I just got an update on twitter. The court has reversed its order and facebook ban has been removed.

Thus, we will be back to our normal routine :P And nobody would be cheating their way to facebook.I think it will be up by tomorrow.

The following I have taken from BBC News website and the article

PAKISTANI COURT REMOVES FACEBOOK BAN

A court in Pakistan has ordered the authorities to restore the Facebook social networking site.

The court had ordered the blocking of the site after a petition was filed against a competition featuring caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad.

The petition, filed by a lawyers' group called the Islamic Lawyers' Movement, said the contest was "blasphemous".

Pakistan's deputy attorney told the court on Monday that Facebook had withdrawn the competition.

The Facebook page in question contained caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad and characters from other religions, including Hinduism and Christianity, as well as comments both critical and supportive of Islam.

On Monday, Justice Ejaz Ahmed Chaudhry of the Lahore High Court reversed his 19 May order to the Pakistani authorities to block the site.

"Restore Facebook. We don't want to block access to information," Justice Chaudhry told the court.

He asked the government to develop a system to find out how countries like Saudi Arabia were blocking access to "blasphemous" content on the internet.

"It is the government's job to take care of such things, which spark resentment among the people and bring them onto the streets.

"They should take steps to block any blasphemous content on the internet," Justice Chaudhry said.

Last week, Pakistan restored access to popular video sharing website YouTube only after blocking some pages for "sacrilegious content".

Correspondents say that the internet is uncensored in Pakistan but the government monitors content by routing all traffic through a central exchange.

In the past, Pakistan has often blocked access to pornographic sites and sites with anti-Islamic content.

It has deemed such material as offensive to the political and security establishment of the country, says the BBC's M Ilyas Khan in Islamabad.

In 2007, the government banned the YouTube site, allegedly to block material offensive to the government of Pervez Musharraf.

The action led to widespread disruption of access to the site for several hours. The ban was later lifted.

18 years

Time is really flying like anything. I never really felt this so much as today. It's been 18 years since papa died. I don't think we would have gone to see him on Tuesday cause of our inflexible office timings, so we went today.

18 years! That's how long it has been. I often think life would have been different had he been around. It would have been better in many ways. But, it was otherwise. Different and Difficult.

Though I tend to not talk much about it, but I have never really forgotten that day when he passed away. I often dream about it, which is quite sad :P. Life changed completely ever since. There is not really much to tell besides this and yet there is so much. I could almost write a novel on it. Somethings you like to share with people and some you don't.

Today, I saw how tall that tree has become next to his grave, which Umar grew there. Almost 18 years since it has been there. I hope papa is at peace. Although, the graveyard is so suffocating I doubt it.

It's so weird how all the other graves around his grave are so sad and depressing. No plants or flowers. Nobody visits them. I would never want that to happen to papa. He should always know we are here for him. Though him not being there, just leaves a vacuum, which will stay there forever.

Stop Plans To Build An Animal-Testing Laboratory

"Stop Plans To Build An Animal-Testing Laboratory in Malacca, Malaysia

Target:

To the Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Chief Minister of Malacca

Sponsored by:

SPCA Selangor, Friends of The Earth Malaysia, British Union For The Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV), European Coalition to End Animal Experiments (ECEAE)

We, the undersigned, urgently request that you take the necessary steps to halt the proposal to construct an animal testing facility in Malacca, Malaysia by the Malaysian government-owned Melaka Biotech and Vivo BioTech, an Indian contract testing company.

Malaysia currently has no specific legislation governing the use of animals in research. This would be detrimental to the issue of animal welfare as the proposed laboratory will be designed to house nonhuman primates, dogs and small animals. Vivo Biotech's website lists it as a company that carries out extensive animal research, including toxicity testing, on a variety of species for a number of purposes, amongst which is its controversial use for cosmetic products.

It has also been reported that primates could be sourced locally in Malaysia. This move will be at direct variance to the Malaysian government's stand in re-instating the ban on the export of primates for research in 2008. Needless to say, the setting up of the animal laboratory in Malacca can only result in immense suffering, misery and death being inflicted on thousands of animals, aside from potentially facilitating the trade in wild-caught primates within Malaysia.

Hence, we oppose the construction of this facility both for ethical reasons and for the lack of scientific validity in extrapolating data obtained from animal testing to humans. Instead, a progressive society would explore the wide range of non-animal techniques that, as well as being a more humane approach in gaining scientific knowledge, can also prove to be cheaper, quicker and more effective.

We earnestly urge you to act in all expediency to quash this proposal as allowing the facility to materialize will not only result in the needless suffering and death of thousands of animals every year, but will also undoubtedly have a negative and detrimental impact on Malaysia's image worldwide.

Thank you.

Unthinkable

Finally I saw Unthinkable & it turned out to be a great movie. I just loved it. The cast too is pretty good. Michael Sheen makes one cool terrorist. The reason why I call him cool is that he was quite honest about being a terrorist, & at no point we see him pleading to be innocent. If one is fighting for such a cause, I believe he/she should also have the courage to admit it. Carrie-Anne Moss is Special Agent Brody from the FBI & she doesn’t approve of the methods used by Samuel Jackson to find out the location of 3 bombs planted by Michael Sheen.

In fact Samuel Jackson seems a total psycho who is obsessed with torturing almost anyone. The director has depicted how interrogators are far more crazier than the terrorist. You’d hate the character of H more than anyone else. We all know that the FBI doesn’t believe in such extreme measures & Agent Brody was all the time against the idea of illegal methods being used by H to get the results.

Agent Brody was mad at Yousef when another bomb was being exploded at a shopping mall & 54 people die in it. But no one had any answer when Yousef said that the same number of people die in Iraq & Afghanistan every day. Actually Yousef wanted America to draw out its troops from all the Muslim countries & that America shouldn’t do any funding to hurt Muslims in any way. But his message is never conveyed to the President of America.

H even kills Yousef’s wife Jahan when everyone refused that he cannot torture Jahan to extract the locations of the bombs planted in 3 different cities. Since H couldn’t do his mad interrogation, so he cuts the throat of Jahan. In the end, he also wanted to harm the kids of Yousef & then he reveals the locations of those 3 bombs.

Yousef was actually an American citizen who was a convert. And Brandon Route looks a really cute FBI agent.

Granny was Right!

The old wicked granny is very spiritual. She has secrets deep down. Secrets she reveals when the right time comes.

So, when the kids from funky town came down to the scary village, the granny warned them.

Granny explained how the evil spirit gets to the happy souls. It eats their spirits and all they are left with is nothing but zombie like body to carry around.

But, like it always happens. People believe not what is the truth. They wouldn't listen to stuff, which is good for them and nurture the bad stuff themselves.

Granny was right! But nobody listened to her thinking she was wicked and mad. And then they were all gone...while all we were left with were the granny tales which nobody believed.

The truth lay there but it was over looked.

Saajan

Today I saw bits & pieces of Saajan. When I saw it in 91, I really liked it. In fact, even today I like how the characters of Sanjay Dutt & Salman Khan gave importance to friendship. At the same time, you can’t ignore the viewpoint of Madhuri.

Although I did find some of the scenes very funny. But it is still one of my all time favorite movies. Just like Saajan, whenever I get the opportunity of watching Dil Hai Kay Manta Nahin, I never miss it. I love 2 movies of Aamir Khan – Sarfarosh & Dil Hai Kay Manta Nahin & yeah he looked absolutely fabulous in Qayamat say qayamat tak.

However, it’s difficult to decide as to who has the worst hair do in Saajan. The guys are wearing pathetic clothes. But I love Salman Khan no matter what.

Some of the songs were just awesome.

Very saddening!

Yesterday more than 88 Ahmedis were killed & around 200 have been injured in twin attacks in Lahore. It’s utterly devastating that people in this country are not even spared while they are worshiping. In fact, they are the ones who are targeted every now & then.

However, what I find more saddening is that some people were happy on yesterday killings as it was the Ahmediyya community. I don’t think I have written anything on Ahmedis on my blog. Even when I mentioned the Blasphemy law, I didn’t talk about them as such. It’s understood that the minority is targeted & mostly, they are falsely implicated in cases due to personal enmity.

What I do find extremely cheap is that we have a clause in our constitution that specifically calls Ahmedis non-Muslims. They are people & people have no control where they are born; it’s not the fault of a person, if he/she is born in some Ahmedi family.

However, I’m aware that not much can be done to change the thinking of people. Closed minds start pointing fingers at us when we support people of other religion. I’m not concerned with anyone’s religious beliefs. I’m concerned about humanity & how people kill it on a daily basis. But I’m equally aware that I can’t do anything about it. I know people who have too rigid views regarding the religious beliefs of others & have no problem in calling them kafir. I think we don’t need to hold views regarding somebody else’s faith or judge them for their religious beliefs. When Pakistan was created, minorities were granted certain rights, but those rights have gone in the gutters.

Anyway, I do feel sorry for all those who have lost their loved ones.

Chinese woman, 60, gives birth to twins

A 60 year old woman in China has given birth to twins after becoming pregnant via in-vitro fertilization. Her real name hasn’t been disclosed. She became impregnated to ease the pain caused by the death of her 28 year old daughter. These 2 infants have given this woman & her husband the courage to live & face the death of their older daughter. Her husband was initially reluctant, but then he agreed. This is just one of the examples. Due to advances in assisted reproductive technology, women could have babies at any age now.

Although people are making fun of her as it would be difficult to look after babies at such an old age. Some say it’s not fair to the twins. According to them, this woman was not in her right frame of mind when she thought of conceiving these babies.

I’m sure it must be difficult on her, but love can do wonders. I wish her & the babies all the best.

Stupidity knows no bounds

We all know that few sites have been created just for sweet & friendly Muslims. And Muslims are asking other Muslims to leave FB. One hate group held a low competition on FB. My 1st question is: Does that make FB a bad place? If the answer is yes, then I presume that America, Canada, England, Australia, France, & all such places must also be bad. So my 2nd question is: What the hell Muslims are doing there? Those are real places, not virtual sites. Why don’t they leave those countries when they can terminate their FB accounts in the virtual world? The only word I have for such Muslims is hypocrite. Leave their land, if you have so much problem rather than behaving like morons.

I’m so sorry to say but I don’t understand what kind of protest is this. Few days ago, I posted certain petitions on our blog. I saw that Non-Muslims had signed those petitions whereas Muslims didn’t have any time for educated kind of protest. Those petitions were simply asking others to respect our religion & stop insulting our beloved Prophet (PBUH). Unfortunately, we don’t have problem in supporting terrorists, but we do have problem in signing petitions. Muslims are not terrorists, but there are a bunch of fanatics who have been terrorizing non-Muslims in the name of Islam. We can’t deny that. But the thing is…people support those criminals who have besmeared the name of Islam & they also label us as Westernized who do not see eye to eye with them. We are also kafir cause we don’t support those terrorists.

I’m sure people will not like my views. But we are supposed to respect every religion. In order to make your point clear, we need to talk. It seems Muslims don’t want to have any dialogue whatsoever. They have already decided that everyone out there is bad. It’s not so. I admit there are non-Muslims who would always stoop down too low. Even this time, they have succeeded in annoying Muslims to this extent. I can’t recall the name of the lady who started this thing, but she had apologized to all the Muslims. She also said that she never wanted anyone to create that hate page. That page was basically created to spite the Muslims & they have been successful so far. How could we let this happen?

It’s very clearly written in the Holy Quran:

‘And those who hurt believing men & believing women, without that they have earned it, have laid upon themselves calumny & manifest sin.’

‘Surely thy Lord knows very well those who have gone astray from His way, & He knows very well those who are guided.’

God is taking care of these things. You don’t have to loose your senses. If someone draws caricature, that shouldn’t shake your faith. What’s the point of banning sites forever? Would that stop people from insulting Muslims? I repeat myself again…Had we been on FB, we could have protested in a far better way.

Sir Syed Ahmed Khan very rightly suggested that Muslims ought to educate themselves & by educating themselves, he meant that we need to enlighten our minds. But unfortunately, we are also divided as Muslims. I’m Sunni & all through my life I’ve heard from Sunni friends that Shias are not Muslims. They perform strange kind of rituals. It’s a sin to call another Muslim kafir, but no one actually cares about sin I guess. We need to stop this & then we need to use our brain cells & say no to stupidity for once. Please stop hating your own people & stop hating non-Muslims who haven’t done you any wrong.

Funny memories

These days I don’t have much to do when I come online. Usually I check out pics on my PC. I have deleted lots of stuff too. But I have no intention of joining new sites. My faith has not been shaken by the stupidity of psychotic idiots & deranged minds. And yes I’m sick of proxy sites.

Anyhow some pics have such cute & funny memories. The older one was taken in Jan’88. Actually we went for boating right after the wedding of our khala (yeah the one who promises to stay 16 forever). Actually on the wedding day, one of my mom’s lipsticks was mutilated & she accused little Z & a very strange thing happened, Z’s hair became all frizzy right after the accusation lol Actually those frizzy hair only proved that Z was innocent. I myself have been accused & punished a number of times for things I haven’t done & whenever someone fixes the blame on me, I just can’t help having this sarcastic grin on my face. I don’t even fight for such cases anymore. And up til this day, we don’t know who fucked with my mom’s lipstick. It was a really cool shade. I got it for her from Islamabad.

The other one was either taken in Jan’ 2010 or Dec’ 2009. We were about to go to Hyderabad, but at the last moment, we couldn’t go. Again it was somebody’s wedding. It’s one long & bizarre story. If you’d look at Z’s expression, that would narrate it far well than words.

Anyhow whenever I write anything about us…we usually have terrible fights. Shayad nazar lag jati hai. We’re just pretty okay friends…nothing out of this world. Nazar nahin lagni chahiye. As it is, we argue all the time.

Women in Love

Women in Love is one of my favourite books, but I read it 10 years ago. From time to time, I often go through the passages that I marked. I really liked the characters of Rupert Birkin & Gerald. Although Birkin is confused & contradictory, but he still has some charm. It has been said that Birkin’s confusion actually mirrors Lawrence’s own. At one point, Rupert even has doubts about sex & he was unsure about almost everything else. However, I’ve never liked that scene in which he was lying naked amidst the daisies. Somehow it reminds me of the desperate stories in which people just cannot find proper place to make love.

D. H. Lawrence hasn’t used terms such as moral or immoral or merely amoral in his book, but his critics couldn’t help using these words. He is just trying to tell us that marriage is the key to meaningful existence & he was pointing out to the potential dangers of mechanized society with its mechanically thinking individuals (Gerald & Gudrun). D. H. Lawrence is criticizing Gerald & praising Birkin without any reason. We don’t find any answer. How else could we expect Gerald to behave?

‘You have never worked for hunger, or you would know what god governs us.’
Gerald

He is no doubt a mechanically thinking individual, but is he wrong? I don’t think so.

‘If you’re doing a thing, do it properly, & if you’re not going to do it properly, leave it alone.’
Gerald

This is just an opinion, but I agree with him. People make a mess. It’s better to stay away than to turn everything into a rotten piece of shit.

‘People only do what they want to do - & what they are capable of doing. If they were capable of anything else, there would be something else.’
Rupert Birkin

‘One must throw everything away, everything – let everything go, to get the one last thing one wants.’
Birkin

This is actually very reckless, but fascinating. I have done this & believe it or not there’s nothing like it.

‘We are materialistic because we haven’t the power to be anything else – try as we may, we can’t bring off anything but materialism: mechanism, the very soul of materialism.’
Birkin

There are countless passages & lines in this book that are too deep & meaningful. One just goes on thinking. I think it’s one of his best novels. I didn’t like Sons & Lovers as such. Everyone was in love with Sons & Lovers, & it seemed a bit over-rated to me. I wasn’t inspired by Paul, Miriam or Clara. The Rainbow & Mr. Noon are just fine, but they do make for a good reading. Lady Chatterley’s Lover is good but you have to have an open mind to admire it. Anyhow, I do find a lot of repetition in Lawrence’s writings. I guess it happens with most writers. I’m reading The Trespasser at the moment. It ain’t that good.

When I read this particular passage, it seemed as if Gerald was talking about our family.

‘There’s one thing about our family, you know. Once anything goes wrong, it can never be put right again – not with us. I’ve noticed it all my life – you can’t put a thing right once it has gone wrong?’

I don’t want my conclusion to be gloomy. Gerald also said, when you’re not at work you should be in love. It can work for many, & if it can’t then Birkin too has a mind blowing suggestion: Life has all kinds of things. There isn’t only one road.

A boring morning

This is a boring Thursday morning. I haven't slept well in weeks now. And today is a long day at work. I'm waiting for one of my weird clients to come and she is getting late.

As I go through some bollywood tweets, I will write whatever seems interesting.

Just read that was a rumour till a few days back that Dev Anand is dead. But the oldie is alive and finalizing his latest production. Another interesting thing is that Saif Ali Khan will be working with the same guy who casted him in Omkara and gave Saif his biggest hits and amazing recognition as a real actor.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is bring Aishwarya Rai, Kareena Kapoor and Priety Zinta in his new movie "Heera Mandi". The movie is of course based on lahore's red light area. Earlier he thought of bringing Madhuri, Rani and Sonam Kapoor for this venture. But people say the final selection is much better and sizzling.

Karan Johar turned 38 and he planned to stay away from the crowds and clutter and decided to be on his own in Manhattan. Like we say, everybody needs some personal space.

Ranbir Kapoor is working on publicity of his new film Rajneeti. He looks handsome as he portrays Rahul Gandhi. He was travelling in train to promote the movie.

The client has not come in as yet. No respect for time man. This pisses me off.

End Racial Bias in Sentencing

Research shows that the death penalty is not applied fairly in California. A defendant is three or four times more likely to be sentenced to die in cases where the victim is white than in cases where the victim is African American or Latino.

The California Racial Justice Act (RJA) would ensure that no one is sentenced to die in California because of race or ethnicity. The RJA would create a procedure for the court to determine whether race was a significant factor in the decision to seek or impose the death penalty in a particular case. In cases where bias is demonstrated the individual would be sentenced to permanent imprisonment instead.

If California is going to continue to have a death penalty, it must be applied without regard to the race or ethnicity of the victim, defendant or jurors.

Stop the Executions of Zeynab Jalalian and Hossein Khezri

Zeynab Jalalian and Hossein Khezri are awaiting execution in Iran. Their crime? "Enmity against God." They are both members of the minority Party for Free Life of Kurdistan, and the Iranian government is using this catch-all phrase to persecute political dissenters under the guise of a religious charge.

These prisoners, and the Iranian people, deserve a fair government, fair trials, and the right to express basic human rights without punishment.

Their sentencing is unjust, their treatment while imprisoned atrocious: Jalalian was told "shut up" when she asked to say goodbye to her mother. She was granted access to a lawyer -- but only for a few minutes. The EU "is profoundly concerned by the repeated sentencing to death in Iran of people belonging to minorities, as well as of those who were involved in the post-election protests." Five people were hanged for similar "offenses" on May 9.

Stop the Iranian government's execution spree. Encourage Ayatollah Sayed 'Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Republic, not to execute Jalalian and Khezri, and to retry them with a fair trial according to international law.

The Party for Free Life of Kurdistan:

It is a militant Kurdish nationalist group with bases in the mountainous regions of northern Iraq ...

has been carrying out numerous attacks in western Iran, southern Turkey and the northeastern parts of Syria where the Kurdish populations live. It is mainly focused on replacing Iran's theocracy with a democratic and federal government, where self-rule is granted to all ethnic minorities of Iran, including Sunni, Arabs,Azeris, and Kurds.

Killer of ‘100 Tigers’ Caught

Fauna and Flora International, an international wildlife conservation organization, has reported the arrest of two Sumatran poachers. One of them, a fifty-seven year old man, said he has killed 100 wild Sumatran tigers over the last thirty years.

The population of Sumatran tigers in the wild is estimated to be only three hundred to five hundred. Fauna and Flora noted the importance of these remaining animals: “As a critically endangered species loss of even one of these animals can impact on the survival of the species.” The Sumatran tiger is the only subspecies left in the Indonesian islands. The last Bali tiger is believed to have been shot in 1937. The last Javan was probably killed in 1984.

Left unchecked, one man’s damage could have played a critical role in wiping out a whole species. His destructiveness wasn’t limted to his own actions though. He also involved his son in the illegal practice of wild tiger poaching. Both of them were caught in the recent arrest. Hopefully the penalties they incur will stop them from ever killing tigers again. It was not reported if there are grandsons of the fifty-seven year old, but if there are I sincerely hope they were not taught the same illegal activities.

Tiger habitat in Sumatra is being lost to agriculture, as more forest is being converted to palm oil production. Gunung Leuser National Park is where the largest population of 110 lives, but much tiger habitat there is still unprotected. Its hard to say even with potentially five hundred tigers left in the wild if that is enough genetic diversity to sustain a wild population. Inbreeding could eventually weaken the species to the point where it is very vulnerable to disease.

Some zoos are currently involved in the efforts to save the species from extinction. The Melbourne Zoo just reported May 13th, they have four healthy new Sumatran tiger cubs.

Visit the Sumatran Tiger Trust website to find out what you can do help.

I miss my friends

I have been quite unfortunate when it comes to using proxy sites. And that makes me hate the idiotic policies of our government. It’s sheer ignorance on the part of those who think blocking websites would stop people from insulting Muslims. The ones who created this mess are not suffering; it’s people like me. I miss my friends more than I miss playing games now. I met such cool people with whom I could talk about almost anything at all.

They are coming up with new sites, but I would never join them. We are supposed to respect every religion, but here we are only creating differences. I’m tired of this superiority shit. Fanatics & maulana kind of people will not like what I’m saying, but I actually don’t care.

I don’t chat, so I don’t have email addresses of my pals. I never thought of saving their addresses…we used to talk on posts while playing games. I miss talking to them. After so many years, I met such good friends. I may not have met them in person, but they made me believe in friendship once again.

Well this doesn’t mean that I want to talk to those desi so-called pals of mine who aren’t trustworthy at all & besides that they also have either closed or undeveloped minds.

I just have this fear that the government might impose a total ban on FB & I may never meet my friends again.

You know many a time, I thought bad of people when I was young, cause I had those pre-conceived notions & set ideas. I didn’t trust them. And I had been fooled by people even today who seemed extra sweet, but they were liars, cheaters & deceivers. My online friends taught me one thing: trusting people is not all that bad. We all come across shitty people but it’s okay.

I wish I had trusted those bad people :P

25th May' 10

I read this today & again I felt bad…it seems humans are so very lonely.

He did not reply. So often she did not take his meaning, but left him alone with his sense of tragedy. She had no idea how his life was wrenched from its roots, & when he tried to tell her, she balked him, leaving him inwardly quite lonely.

Many a time, no one understands & it hurts when you want to talk to your loved ones or friends, & they just don’t seem to get it. It’s really ironic that you have someone & still it doesn’t mean much…And really when you can’t share, what’s the point to be with that person?

Defining Sexy Perhaps!

She wore this exotic dress at some event just to shock mankind I believe. Or maybe she was defining sexy in another language. Honestly speaking, I don’t have anything against this woman, but she does things one cannot ignore. Yeah but Paris Hilton was ignoring her. No wonder she’s a confirmed undeveloped mind.

Anyway, I have one question for Mallika: What’s the difference between wearing clothes & shedding them? She has actually removed that thin line.

Mallika Sherawat’s embarrassing moment

This is the 1st thing I read in the morning & I do feel sorry for her. Some event was organized by amfAR a few days ago & lots of celebrities like Jennifer Lopez, Paris Hilton, Mick Jagger, Marc Anthony, Gerald Butler & designer Roberto Cavilli were there. Mallika was given cold shoulders by almost all of them. And it has been reported that Paris Hilton kept on ignoring poor Mallika…even when she went to exchange pleasantries, Paris Hilton gave no response. Itna tou koi dil say karna nahin hota…it’s all fake & still people can’t get rid of their complexes, & just say hi & fuck off.

Only Roberto Cavalli had the decency to be courteous enough with this lady. Incidentally, it was a charity event ‘Cinema Against AIDS 2010’ & ironically people weren’t that charitable when it comes to say even hello.

It’s kind of amusing that Paris Hilton was acting all weird. I’m so sorry to say but she falls in the same category. In fact, she’s a woman with no brains who carries her unhappy toy dogs everywhere just to prove one thing: she’s a genuine dumbo & you must acknowledge that if you have a developed mind. And when she saw another of her kind, she looks down on her. That’s the joke of the day! Instead of looking down on others, people ought to look at themselves. It will solve most of problems. And the photos will tell you how satisfied everyone is…so much so that words like fake & made-up are getting a little embarrassed.

End Violence Against Girls

Ethiopian girls face a tough choice. If they stay home, they will likely be married off before they are 15. If they leave, many are forced into labor-intensive domestic work or the sex trade.

But the UN's Bright Future Program in Addis Ababa offer vulnerable girls education and protects them from violence and exploitation.

Violence against women crosses cultural and geographical boundaries. One in three women in the world faces violence, coercion or abuse as part of her every day life. More than 70 percent of women are victims of violence in their lifetimes.

UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon has made it a personal priority to end violence against women in 2010. Programs like Bright Future are an essential part of the solution.

Tell Secretary-General Ban to use the Bright Future program as a model to end violence against women.

Humane Animal Treatment

Support International Guidelines for Humane Animal Treatment

Animals all over the world are victims of cruelty and abuse.

The nations of the world must unite and create international guidelines for the treatment of animals.

Different countries with their various customs naturally treat animals differently. An international law can take into account cultural differences that affect the treatment of animals in different countries and create base standards of humane treatment. Gandhi said, "the greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals." Guidelines for humane animal treatment would further the greatness of all nations, and help promote moral progress worldwide.

Encourage the United Nations to set standards for humane treatment of the world's animals.

Stealing people

The other day my sister said to me that Evil Maharaja (my younger brother) hates me as I’m guilty of stealing his most sincere friend & that friend is none other than Z. You know I don’t steal. That has never been my style. But this is not the 1st time I have heard this thing & quite frankly, it never occurred to me that the Evil Maharaja doesn’t stand me for this reason. For the 1st time in my life, I actually felt sorry for him. That would be a lie. I think it’s the 2nd time.

Anyhow, I just couldn’t help thinking of others who accused me of the same thing & believe it or not, no one was that important to me. 3 friends of mine told me that their best friends couldn’t stand me for the same reason. Whenever something of the sort happened, I used to say to my friends that they need to talk to their best friend & explain that they just talk & have fun. It doesn’t mean anything at all. It never meant much to me.

I had a best friend & once she too had this issue. She didn’t say anything to me. One of her chaddi buddy shared something with me but when my best friend asked her, she didn’t share that story at that time, cause females have strange reasons…Khair when my best friend learnt everything, she was like…you have just met Nadira & you told her, but you didn’t tell when I asked you. This dialogue was narrated to me by that other friend on the phone. I don’t understand these things. I have never been into stealing people. I didn’t even bother to discuss this with my best friend.

Few months ago, 2 friends of mine inquired when I went for tarot card reading about the result & I told them almost everything, but at that time I didn’t know how to put this thing nicely cause no matter how I try, it just doesn't sound that nice. That tarot card uncle told me that I would meet a married guy who has at least 3, 4 girl friends. And not just these 5 women, but also his mother will accuse me of stealing him from them. Can you believe it? I must be too good at stealing people I suppose. However, this is one adventure I look forward to.

I’m really fucking tired.

I have been thinking about FB ever since the morning. People have been sending all sorts of links that could actually take you to FB. You just need to download & install. I have done that but my fucked up luck always butts in. My sister & friend are actually shocked that in spite of following every fucking step, it’s just not opening the god-damn page.

I hope that psychotic judge rots in hell (cause such people know as to what is right or wrong & maybe that’s why is all the time thinking about Mushy). We have to go through so much shit because of hideous people & crazy morons. It just reminds me of what I read in Milton’s pamphlet. Even today some people think they have the right to decide for others. They just know what’s best & I don’t know how does that happen, cause angels don’t walk on this planet.

I’m so tired. I don’t know why I get things in the end or I don’t get anything at all. My luck is so that I always take more time than the others.

Moreover, I’m also ashamed of illiterate fools in this country who just don’t get tired of sending you messages on cell phone that we must use this site which is better than FB or that FB has lost millions of Euros. But these jahils have no time to sign petitions on such matters. No one wants to protest in an educated way. Had we been on FB, we would have protested there, but we were deprived of that opportunity.
