From the good old days, I particularly like the music from this amazing movie Mashaal, starring Dileep Kumar and Anil Kapoor. It was a good story as well, which shows how the circumstances and continuous bad things happening in one's life changes a person's perspectives on life completely.
I never like Anil Kapoor much when he speaks in English, a case similar, but less irritating in comparison to Abhishek Bachan. But, Anil Kapoor is a versatile actor and has acted well time and again. One of his distinctive credits are that he worked with the industy's gurus at the very beginning of his career and left a good mark, which is not so common. It is not like some Aditya Roy acting in front of Shahrukh or Ashwarya or Aamir. Standing in front of people like Dilip Kumar is a big thing and he did it well.
The best dialogue in this movie was however delivered by Amrish Puri : Zamana bohat kharab hai Tola Raam!

This is such an interesting song about the street thugs and their life explained well with the lyrics.
This second song is a fun filled festive song. Holi is a colorful fun festival as it is, so the song is a bit naughty and sweet. I hate Waheeda Rehman's boring lines though they are sweet too :P they just break the tempo.
Now this is a very powerful and extremely optimistic song. How the young man is challenging life itself, that he is all set to change the world with his knowledge and will.
