It's believed that Kareena Kapoor can predict the fate of her movies. The question is: if she knows the fate of her movies, why did she work in flops like Main Aur Mrs Khanna & We are Family? Lots of people were deceived as they thought Salman Khan was in Main Aur Mrs Khanna, but it was basically Sohail Khan & Kareena's movie. We are Family was inspired by Step mom but they made one mistake...the sick mom in this flick seemed more healthy than all the others. Besides that, Kajol was acting as a baby all along. Pata nahin log bacha kyun bantay hain when they neither look like one nor do they sound like one! Anyhow, Kareena knew that Golmaal 3 would be a huge success.
"With the kind of experience that I come with in the industry, I guess I am intelligent enough to tell which of my films would work at the box office and which ones won't", says Kareena, "Once I have seen the film in a trial, I can well predict the fate of my films."
This is what she has to say about We are Family which didn't set the box office on fire:
"It was never expected to be a blockbuster to begin with", she defends, "The film didn't quite belong to the genre that would have attracted a wide range of audience. Every film comes with his own 'kundli' and WE ARE FAMILY had its own. I knew that and so did Karan (Johar), hence the film was made in a certain budget. I am not the kind of actor who lives in her own ivory tower. I am pretty attached to reality."
Kareena also said that she doesn't like action (?) & she doesn't like to do stunts. She's playing the mother of SRK's kids in RA. ONE. It's more of a song dance kind of conventional role.
