Christian Bale has lost so much weight for a movie. He looks awful. But he’s a very talented & good-looking actor. I think I have seen Equilibrium at least 20 times & Prestige a couple of times.
Images from the movie The Fighter have been released. He’s playing the role of Dicky Ecklund (it sounds like a very perverted name). This guy was into boxing & later on he went for a life of petty crimes.
This is not the 1st time he has done dieting for a role. Even in The Machinist, he lost 27 kilos.
Steve from film blog The Collider recently wrote: "The Fighter is one of the best films I’ve seen this year and if you just know Christian Bale from his work as Batman, you will not believe your eyes when you watch The Fighter. Christian Bale rips through the film like a tornado and he’s easily the front runner to win an Oscar."
It doesn't matter how he looks in this movie, we love him. He's one of the best things that has happened to Hollywood.
