My cat Zizu passed away this morning. He had urinary infection & his condition was deteriorating. Although urinary infection is not like urethra blockage, but your cat could die of kidney failure eventually. He was in too much pain, so I’m glad it’s over. He’s not suffering anymore.
Well Zizu didn’t like humans as such, but he had 3 favourites: his foster mom (Minnie), his girlfriend (Max) & my room. He loved sitting on the bed, but all the while, he used to ignore me. When Minnie had her surgery, he literally used to lick her wounds & he always used to hold her as if he was giving her one big hug. He badly adored his gf. He also had one enemy named Snowy. So I guess he had a full life. Some of us are surrounded by everyone & yet we don’t have anyone in particular. He had everything.
Usually my cats are neutered, but Zizu wasn’t & he was not even 2 year old at the time of his death…so he left behind something of him. We have his daughters & all 3 look exactly their father. They are 4 weeks old.
I have been thinking that some animals have better lives than humans. They even get proper burials. Zizu not just have a family, he had a home. His life was better than so many strays, but he didn’t live that long. Maybe that’s why we met him in January 2009. God wanted us to look after one of his angels.
Anyway, Zizu you will always be remembered. R.I. P. our dear child. We may never find another stubborn baby like you, but it was worth having you even for a short while.
