A 60 year old woman in China has given birth to twins after becoming pregnant via in-vitro fertilization. Her real name hasn’t been disclosed. She became impregnated to ease the pain caused by the death of her 28 year old daughter. These 2 infants have given this woman & her husband the courage to live & face the death of their older daughter. Her husband was initially reluctant, but then he agreed. This is just one of the examples. Due to advances in assisted reproductive technology, women could have babies at any age now.
Although people are making fun of her as it would be difficult to look after babies at such an old age. Some say it’s not fair to the twins. According to them, this woman was not in her right frame of mind when she thought of conceiving these babies.
