Last night I wanted to write something about Farrah Fawcett. This beautiful lady died at the age of 62 due to anal cancer. She was being under treatment for the past 3 years. She was indeed one of the coolest Charlie’s Angels. In fact, I’ve always liked the original Charlie’s Angels. They had class & they were all beautiful. No one else could have done justice to the character of a private investigator Jill Munroe as Farrah Fawcett did. She also came with Lee Majors in The Six Million Dollar Man.

In a 1977 interview she said: "When the show (Charlie’s Angels) was number three, I thought it was our acting. When we got to be number one, I decided it could only be because none of us wears a bra."

Ryan O'Neal, the longtime companion who returned to her side when she became ill, was with her. ‘After a long and brave battle with cancer, our beloved Farrah has passed away," O'Neal said. "Although this is an extremely difficult time for her family and friends, we take comfort in the beautiful times that we shared with Farrah over the years and the knowledge that her life brought joy to so many people around the world."

"Her big message to people is don't give up. No matter what they say to you, keep fighting," Alana Stewart, who filmed Fawcett as she underwent treatment.

I still can’t believe that Michael Jackson is dead. He might not be on the screen for some time but almost everyone in the world knows this man. He was an asset & his death is a great loss for music lovers.

I think he suffered a lot in his life. People used to sue him for one thing or the other. It’s just that people seem to make a person’s life as miserable as possible & even there are many who aren’t satisfied after a person’s death…some think that he had money & everything, so why do we feel saddened about his death? The thing is…Everyone doesn’t have to think alike. His fans will always miss him. He had that sort of voice that drove people mad.

I really liked him in that ad of Pepsi which came in the 90s. He looked really cool in it. Although there are still people who can’t help calling him a child molester…then there was an uproar about the dangling of his baby on the balcony. People never spared him. Even today some people can’t help being bitchy. Some are saying that he was born black & he died white. But then what else can we expect of ordinary people? They don’t even spare humans even after their death. Nevertheless, Michael Jackson has some ardent fans who would never forget him.

Mystery cat takes regular bus to the shops

This story came out in April 2007. It's about a white cat Macavity. The feline, which has a purple collar, gets onto the busy Walsall to Wolverhampton bus at the same stop most mornings - he then jumps off at the next stop 400m down the road, near a fish and chip shop.

The cat, nicknamed Macavity, has one blue eye and one green eye.

The cat was nicknamed Macavity after the mystery cat in T.S Elliot's poem. He gets on the bus in front of a row of 1950s semi-detached houses and jumps off at a row of shops down the road which include a fish and chip shop.

Driver Bill Khunkhun, 49, who first saw the cat jumping from the bus in January, said: "It is really odd, the first time I saw the cat jumping off the bus with a group of passengers. I hadn't seen it get on which was a bit confusing.

"The next day I pulled up on Churchill Road to let a couple of passengers on. As soon as I opened the doors the cat ran towards the bus, jumped on and ran under one of the seats, I don't think any of the passengers noticed.

"Because I had seen it jump off the day before I carried on driving and sure enough when I stopped just down the road he jumped off - I don't know why he would catch the bus but he seems to like it. I told some of the other drivers on this route and they have seen him too."
Since January, when the cat first caught the bus he has done it two or three times a week and always gets on and off at the same stops.

Passenger, Paul Brennan, 19, who catches the 331 to work, said: "I first noticed the cat a few weeks ago. At first I thought it had been accompanied by its owner but after the first stop it became quite clear he was on his own.

"He sat at the front of the bus, waited patiently for the next stop and then got off. It was was quite strange at first but now it just seems normal. I suppose he is the perfect passenger really - he sits quietly, minds his own business and then gets off."

Don’t let anyone get to you

Anyway, have you ever had the urge to say this to someone: You won’t be able to walk, talk, eat or fuck when I’m done?

Ever since my spine injury, I have been hearing all kinds of stories but unfortunately I haven’t been able to share any with you guys. As usual they are about people…mostly self-deluded or religiously jealous folks & there is a kind that does nothing but criticize all those who are doing something. However, this world needs all kinds of people...even the ones who say one thing & contradict that very thing immediately. If you haven’t met even one kind, consider yourself lucky & if you have met them all: Congrats! Cast stones at us or shower flowers - we celebrate no matter what.

About the self-deluded ones, they are so-called originals. That’s what they say or maybe that’s what they are trying to prove to themselves. We can’t say who do they meet when they are all alone by themselves. The chances are: they don’t meet themselves. (You know it requires courage to meet yourself.) In any case, it doesn’t matter. They remain deluded. But there is a low kind that worships them. They follow them everywhere like a loyal puppy. It’s just that this puppy is not that cute. Real puppies are adorable & humans who are being transformed into puppies aren’t. They try to fit in everywhere…telling the deluded folks that they love them. Love is the most commonly used (read abused) word & maybe that’s the reason the emotion is missing for the most part. And how can we forget the victims of these so-called originals! These victims are the ones who also love their executioners. They too try to fit in & behave as kids, cause nobody is a kid & yet everyone is age conscious. And the so-called originals don’t miss any opportunity to make fun of the age conscious victims. It seems the victims don’t know what is self-respect, so to speak & they like to be abused by the so-called originals.

People do get jealous. Jealousy is something that is present in every human…the intensity could differ though. Some see spark in some individual & try to demoralize him/her. Sometimes there is no spark at all & yet people try their best to make sure that the person gets demoralized. What you see is not always the whole truth.

Well I don’t like animal abusers at all & I hear and read strange cases every now & then. I also don’t see any justification for being so cruel & inhuman. Today my friend narrated this story & I couldn’t help putting it down. It’s a story of a woman who is 29 or 30 now. When she was 13, she was so naïve & abnormally curious that she killed & tortured a couple of animals.

Actually she is quite proud of her achievements even today & she brags about it whenever she can. Anyway at the age 13, she caught this kitten & she wanted to know as to what would happen to it, if she put that creature in the microwave oven. She did what she thought & after some time her younger brother panicked & she let go of the kitten. She thinks that the kitten didn’t die. Besides being so fucking, she’s also not well read. How can she know? You know people are usually very naïve at the age of 13. When her brother took a nap, she put his chick in the oven & the chick died. You’ll get the answer how fucked up she is in a while. After few days, she thought of putting her puppy in the washing machine to find out something. And the puppy also died.

Nevertheless, her abnormal curiosity knows its limits. She doesn’t cut her fingers, toes & legs to satisfy her curiosity. I’m very sorry to say but such people should be either behind the bars or in mental asylums. However, we hardly ever see justice being done as the system is corrupt. I also don’t know whom she’s trying to fool now by telling that she was so naïve when she did the work of the Devil. And I forgot to mention that she was also laughing while she narrated this hideous story of her pathetic life.

A Pet's Bite Can Pass on MRSA

Resistant staph bacteria is being transmitted between animals and humans, study finds.

Transmission of methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections between pets and humans are increasing, with the most common being infections of the skin, soft-tissue and surgical infections, say researchers who conducted a review of clinical evidence.


"Pet owners are often unaware of the potential for transmission of life-threatening pathogens from their canine and feline companions," Dr. Richard Oehler, of the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa, and colleagues wrote in the July issue of The Lancet Infectious Diseases.

Sepsis, a bloodstream infection, can be a severe complication of bite wounds infected with MRSA and a number of other types of bacteria.

Increasing prevalence of community-acquired MRSA in humans has been accompanied by MRSA colonization in domestic animals such as dogs, cats and horses. This makes the animals potential reservoirs of MRSA infection. And MRSA-related skin infections in pets, such as simple dermatitis, can easily spread to humans, according to the article.

Treatment of MRSA infections in pets is similar to that used in humans, said the researchers, who added that much more research needs to be done on MRSA pet-human infections.

Who Was Neda : The Assassination Victim

On June 20th 2009, Neda was standing on the corner of the street next to her father, watching the protestors. A member of Basij, hiding on a rooftop of a home, took a clear shot at her heart. The impact of the shot was so great that even with 5 men pushing on her chest, trying to stop the bleeding, she died in less than 30 seconds. Right in front of her father who was pleading those around him to save his daughter and keep her with him.

This is not a sad fictional story, this happened yesterday in Tehran, Iran. All of the major news web sites have refused to put the video showing this innocent girl’s death on their site, regardless of our many attempt. In case most of you don’t know yet, many of the signals sent to these websites are jammed from Iran, and during certain hours of the day the information or pictures on these websites have nothing to do with what is actually happening in Iran or what extent they are happening. BBC, CNN, FOX, yahoo!, aol!, any other site that you check out for news, well they always manage to get updated by the end of the day.

The movement in Iran has moved pass the election fraud. It is now, about having the right to free speech and having freedom or not. People are fighting dictatorship in Iran and the price they are paying for freedom is their blood.

Don’t let Neda’s blood be shed in vain. Watch the video. It is heart trenching, painful and down right in humane. And then think about how her father felt, when he saw his little girl, an innocent by stander, dying in front of him. Today is father’s day. pay your respect to him by copying this note and tagging your friends, people need to know.

Ufone –Right In Your Face

Although I do feel PakMediaBlog has posted many articles on Ufone over the past weeks. Somehow their ad campaigns do become the talk of the town in one way or the other. Obviously, a couple of their ads are better than the rest.


Now, recently they have made another concise ad after Zong has started airing it’s ad on how people using Warid, Mobilink, Telenor can have the same old number but actually be a Zong subscriber and the benefits are being mentioned. It is quite functional and not at all interesting to watch sort of ad. Even the billboards are quite unimpressive showing different faces with different numbers of various networks but all are Zong users.



But Ufone has come up with a wonderful tvc which is actually right in the face. The tvc was made obviously keeping in mind the boring Zong ad but it is so spot on that it is bound to get the viewers attention. Apparently, the ad never went on air because of objections raised by PTA (Pakistan Telecommunication Authority) but the viral marketing has taken over. And the ad is pretty much available online.



Moreover, whoever has seen it online is loving the ad and finding it a treat to watch. But that still remains a question mark if such advertising is necessary or not? But after looking at Zong’s ad one can safely say that they actually called for such a response

The route that some take

I have never been a fan of Junaid Jamshed. In fact Dil Dil Pakistan is the only song that I ever liked & I’ve never been interested in Pakistani music as such.

Ever since JJ has become maulvi type, I’ve noticed that countless folks have problem with this. I think it’s a personal choice. People should mind their own business, but I’ve even heard this singer saying on TV that he would never choose the path taken by JJ. That’s not just ridiculous but also immature on the part of someone to say it on TV. Be honest, if you have the charm to be one. And then no one is asking you to choose the path of a clergy.

Recently JJ has been giving this public service message on Lays. That PSM has been taken by many as an endorsement. I even went through certain comments where my sister writes & I was like what’s the big deal about it? It has been alleged that Lays is not halal. Only a religious scholar or some genuinely knowledgeable person could tell you whether a thing is haram or halal. Fine. I admit the style of JJ is a bit funny, but the message was clear unless you have serious problem with JJ or Lays.

I know 2 ladies who were ultra mod but now they observe pardah & they have changed a lot. In common language, they have become maulanas. Mostly people are shocked out of their wits. Everyone one was like…how could this happen? Such out people can never become religious. People I know also say that they don’t know what others mean by the word religious. One word can have thousand definitions as thousands of people define it in different ways. To my mind, a person who is doing a noble work is also religious. Even a person who prays just 1 time can be religious in the eyes of God. We can’t say anything on it.

Today I read such a sweet story of this spaniel named Sophie adopting baby owl. Bramble has been one lucky owl. They both met at a rescue centre. Sophie gives Bramble daily wash; she keeps licking her.

Sharon Bindon, 43, who runs the centre at Liskeard, Cornwall, said, “When Bramble arrived she had no feathers and had to be kept in the house. On her first day Sophie cleaned her as they sat on the settee. " It is said that now Bramble has the cleanest beak & feathers.

Again these kinds of stories come in the newspapers every now & then. Once I saw this photo of 2 strays (one was a cat & the other dog); they were called Bahadur & Lalu. Even they were inseparable & great buddies.

In 2002, a lioness in Kenya adopted baby oryx. She used to protect him from other predators just like a real mom. They used to walk & rest together & she even allowed the mother to feed baby oryx. However, this story has a sad end. She looked after the baby for 2 weeks. When they went to the river, the lioness felt asleep & during that while, another lion killed the baby. Although the lioness roared at him & she was really angry but the baby was killed.

“Local people in Kenya named the lioness Kamunyak, which means “the blessed one” in the local Samburu language. Since then she has cared for five more young Oryxes, but none lives longer than a week and the last escaped back to it's mother. Kamunyak was last sighted in February 2003, and despite a number of searches, she has not been spotted again. Her story was recorded by Saba Douglas-Hamilton and her sister, Dudu, between January 2002 - August 2003. Their film, Heart of a Lioness, was shown on the BBC and Animal Planet. This a powerful message for us all to fight racism. If an animal can overcome her hunger and instinct to protect, imagine what we humans can do, if we really wants to.”

There have been cases in which animals feed the babies of other animals who are being abandoned. Animals are indeed very cool creatures & humans can learn a lot from them.

Petition to have Cheyenne Cherry tried as Adult

Please sign this petition to encourage having Cheyenne Cherry Tried as an Adult on July 15, 2009.

Her web page is a reflection of a person who wants to be a gangsta. She has been accused of assault, theft and breaking and entering into the young woman's apartment to vandalize it and toss bleach on the walls. As if that wasn't enough to satisfy her petty meannes she put a 2 month old defenseless kitten into an oven and left it to suffer an agonizing death.

She is a junior career criminal and is a menace to anyone she meets. These signatures will go to Judge Byrne at the Bronx Supreme Court where I'm told the NY Daily News is also sending letters written to them.

Please, make a statement to our courts that this is a horrible crime and should be given a maximum sentence and tried as an adult.

She claims to like watching Law & Order and probably thinks that since she's 17 she will get away with a slap on the wrist. She needs to know the difference between TV and real life.

Despite her June 2008 arrest for larceny and extortion, along with two other busts, Cherry was released without bail after being charged with letting a friend's kitten die inside a 200-degree oven.

"They wonder why this little girl doesn't learn right from wrong," Castro said. "If she's willing to kill a cat and steal my dog, what else will she do? She thinks she can beat the system."

Cherry said little Tiger Lily was killed during "a practical joke" - the same excuse she gave for shoving a gun in the robbery victim's face last year, cops said.

"It was just a joke," Cherry said after her arrest for robbing a man of his iPod at gunpoint. She pleaded guilty to robbery and got five years probation.

Cherry also had a 2007 arrest for smacking a girl in the head with jewelry, police said.

Cherry, now charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, arson, burglary and criminal mischief, is a dog owner who loves pets, her brother insisted.

Not much to say really

Few days ago, I thought of writing something on Mallika Sherawat, but there wasn’t much to say & I couldn’t find any decent pic, naturally I dropped the idea. I believe it shouldn’t even be called an idea.

Now we all know this lady cannot act at all. Which is why she gets rid of her clothes whenever she can & she does that often. She very aptly said in one of her movies that she could teach kissing to everyone in India. She has been inspired by Marilyn & Madonna. She also says that Marilyn was never taken seriously & so if she’s not taken seriously, it doesn’t matter. What a low aim to copy someone, in the first place! Anyway that is Mallika Sherawat.

On a couple of sites in the comment section, I have seen that Mallika is mostly called a whore. However, she doesn’t do all the stuff by herself. What do we call the other party? A league of fallen men! If she’s a whore, then they are also into whoring.

I have never been able to comprehend the point of exposing & not acting at all. There are names like that of Mumta Kulkarni & Pooja Bedi that come in my mind when I think of actresses who are only interested in showing their skin. And beyond any doubt, almost everyone today is into shedding clothes & steamy kissing scenes & making out. They don’t realize that people have seen better stuff.

I remember Mumta Kulkarni was one person who was looked down by almost everyone when she came on the cover of Stardust. She didn’t even look sexy in that hideous pic, but somebody wanted to capture that moment…just how I want to share that one of a kind pic with you all today. Thanks to all the enthusiastic folks in the film industry, we get to see so much. Wish they put more stress on the story line & acting as they do on all the other things.

Petition to Send a Kitten-Cooker to the Can!!

A cat-hating Bronx teen roasted a helpless kitten alive in a heartless attempt to get revenge on her lesbian lover, authorities said yesterday.

Cheyenne Cherry, 17, and an accomplice allegedly broke into the Mott Haven home of ex-gal pal Valerie Hernandez, 19, on May 6.

They tossed her little cat, Tiger Lily, into the oven, then turned it on, authorities said.

"The kitten was burned alive, and it did not happen quickly. It was an agonizing death," said ASPCA Assistant Director Joe Pentangelo.

Cherry and her partner in crime also busted up Hernandez's home, slashing the couch, cutting TV wires and swiping food, sources said.

The invaders left the kitten trying to claw its way out. A fire eventually started in the Tinton Avenue home, and firefighters made the grim discovery.

Cherry was charged with arson, burglary, criminal trespass and felony aggravated animal cruelty. When asked why she did it, she allegedly said, "I don't like cats."

Cheyenne Cherry is a dangerous person. She is the personification of an animal-torturer who wouldn’t think twice about torturing or even killing a person.

Flesh is Fine!

Ok I have been thinking of writing this down for quite some time now but couldn't get the time and energy to pen it. Also another reason is that Bipasha Basu has never been my favorite. I don't like her, although I never deny that she looks sexy but I can't like her much because she doesn't know how to act.

I have in fact watched many of her movies just to see that probably she does act well besides her looking big and sexy but at least I thought she was just too made up. Nothing looks natural about her acting somehow.

Anyway, the point for writing this piece was that apart from everything else I have to say I didn't like her couple with Ranbir Kapoor because though she looked hot, she also seemed much older than him. And then in the interviews pre and post launch of Bachna Aye Haseeno she used to get all chummy with Ranbir the lucky boy which too looked so fake and ridiculous. She got a lot of negative publicity after those incidents.

After that she came with another lucky hot boy in Aaa Dekhay Zara - Neil Nitin Mukesh. And yes she looks nice in many scenes but that song Gazab...that is just such a pathetic combination of white and black. He looks so neat, handsome and cool. She looks black, uncovered and I wouldn't call it hot but yeah people who just love flesh would. But what I want to highlight is that she hardly wears clothes is pretty fine, but in this song when she isn't wearing anything that bling bling shiny black jacket on top of our bikini bra shit makes me so sick everytime...

Everyone should watch this song and do some crazy moves and get a sexy jacket to wear over nothing I guess...

Next, is Kareena Kapoor who loves to be in the news all the time. However, she now has lost her focus from acting to chotay nawab Saif Ali Khan, appearing in ads, spending time with Saif and yeah the famous size zero. Although, she is not the first Indian actress to get a size zero. Actually she used to look much fresh before her size zero achievement, her face had more glow somehow before and now it looks too skinny. I don't know I always thought Shilpa Shetty had the best figure and that's what a lot of Indian critics say too.

And then the notorious Malika Sherawat who is there just to provide some cheap entertainment. She doesn't act, she doesn't wear clothes, she looks desperate in all her sexy scenes and her appearances abroad in shows and other events are also quite weird. This woman somehow looks cheap in every way. She is cheapness personified.

And all of them think they are brilliant actresses as well. They also behave as if they are the youngest gals in the whole world. It seems like I hate hate them but actually I always praise them when they look nice but some things I find irritating so I just put them down.

Suicide Bombing Again?

Needless to say the Muslims who are clear on their understanding of Islam would agree to the fact that suicide bombing is not an act that is allowed to be performed. And here by Muslims I don’t mean religious scholars and preachers – I am talking about the common people. There are some basic fundamental teachings that we cherish because Islam talks about peace. So do all the other religions around the globe. And suicide bombing was never a part of these learnings.

I do not remember us being taught that we have the right to call another Muslim a non-Muslim. In fact, we were clearly told that he is not a Muslim who calls another Muslim a kafir. We don’t have the right to judge and decide on who is practicing what and his/her religious inclinations. Our aim should be to focus on our lives and ensure we are fulfilling our role and responsibilities as a true Muslim and we will get so busy, we wouldn’t get the time to think about others in the first place.

Another thing, we as kids were told that committing suicide is wrong in Islam because God gave us this life and He shall take it away as, when and how He has decided. Besides that hurting yourself is too not permissible.

And suicide bombing is certainly not a part of Islam. Some ignorant fools have this belief that they should kill themselves in the name of God and kill others who don’t deserve to be alive while doing so – suicide bombing. And this is jehad and they are shaheeds. This looks like an absurd thought with no logic. Hurting yourself is not allowed, killing someone else is not allowed, calling another a non-Muslim is not allowed, yet they go on doing things and call it Islam. You can just pull your hair! It makes no sense.

Years ago we read Talibans and Usama bin Laden were the enemies of USA. But now their list of enemies have grown. They are everywhere doing what they do best. And even Pakistan itself has become so disturbed by their presence. It is so weird every other day we hear news updates on bomb blasts. People are just dying.

It is so upsetting that yesterday, in Lahore another suicide bombing took place to get rid of Allama Sarfaraz Ahmed Naeemi – who was a renowned religious scholar who openly condemned that Talibans and their ways were un Islamic. And so they chose a Friday and got the scholar down along with others who definitely didn’t deserve to die because they had gone to pray. How can this be right?

So the madness of Talibans is spreading. And people who have the courage to stand up and speak their mind openly against them are targeted to spread fear among the rest. Does this mean people should stop going to mosques for prayers, do we stop going for shopping in the market, do we stop sending kids to schools…because they seem to be everywhere for their so called jihad. And when will this shit end?
