Who is that frog?
We’re all on a vacation. Zara is lost in her world…thinking about love. I have a camera in my hand & as usual I’m taking pretty bad pics with much enthusiasm. Sara is the Rani of this episode. Which is why she’s extremely kali :P Yes, yes I’m coming to the million dollar question…”who’s that frog?” This man was being kissed by the greatest kisser & you can see the result.

So What If Adam Lambert is Gay?
Now I really don't know if this is a shock or what? I really thought a major chunk of the world is way past things such as sexuality, sex change, gays etc.
Even if the American Idol judge Kara Elizabeth DioGuardi (who is an American singer and record producer) has just made it public that Adam Lambert is gay...is it really that big a deal?
It was always quite obvious though or at least the signs were pretty much there but should one always put a tag on himself to spell it out to the world. And should one judge people based on their sexuality. I was reading various articles and many Americans raised the question that could this be the reason that he lost out on the votes.
Knowing how people react to such things even today when everything is so clear it can be a possibility that his sexuality could have influenced the voters some how because it is very easy to switch one's opinion on very small details.

Age is only a matter of numbers, or does it really give headaches? I think whether a person lies about his/her age, it shows. Very few people look much, much younger than their age.
Anyway Neetu Singh was 13 year old when she came in movies. Rani Mukherjee was just 17. The thing is they are 13, 14 or 17. Unless they are Kareena Kapoor & Karishma Kapoor. They are ever green. I still remember how in Dil tou pagal hai, Karishma never missed any opportunity of calling Madhuri her senior. And it won’t be incorrect to say that Kareena is still in her diapers. She was also 14 year ago when she came in Refugee. There’s only one lady who doesn’t lie about her age & that is Sushmita Sen. I’m sure they would be some others too but I can’t recall their names.
Some other examples are also bothering me. Of course they are all age conscious. Besides that there is something wrong in their level of maturity as well. Nirma once said, what can I do, if I am so hot? The only person I’ve ever heard talking about Nirma’s hotness, is Nirma herself.
Gia Ali has some philosophies too & I think she has heard them from someone else. She says a beautiful woman is always in a relationship & that’s why she says she has 2 boyfriends, cause she is very, very beautiful. And those who aren’t in relationship are either lesbians or they have relations with animals.
And there’s another woman & her name is Meera. Jee haan Miss Meera Jee…well she says that she was 10 year old when she came in the industry. I saw her in that powder ad for the 1st time & she didn’t seem like a child to me.
Many, many years ago, on her 19th birthday, Reema said that it would have been so nice if my parents had taught me English rather than dancing. I can never understand what is this obsession with English. In one of her interviews, Reema jee gave 500 bucks to some poor fellow. I missed the point somewhere.
I don’t know what to say about Veena Malik. Every time I see her on TV, it reminds me of those Internet pics…You know what I mean.
So, these are some young dames from the era that seems a bit too old for such young & dainty girls. Actually yahan tou sab hee bachay hain. It’s rare to meet adults these days.

One Lousy Story
We meet all kinds of people. Few months ago, I met this lady on the net. Just like many, she too thought it was okay to presume. Anyway, she narrated this story of a Muslim girl. According to her, this girl is now a convert. She has accepted Judaism. The lady went on further & said that people are scared to talk about their religion.
Religion is a very personal thing & I don’t see the need to discuss it even with my best people. But the way she was babbling, it was obvious she thought I was either an atheist or someone in search of religion. And just like that girl who, most probably, could be a figment of her imagination, she thought I too might embrace some other religion. I didn’t like it, but somehow I tackled that lousy situation.
You know I don’t understand why people have this bad habit of presuming everything. Fine. I can understand that some people can’t go beyond their country & religion. But it doesn’t mean others too would fall in love with what is important to them. To be honest, I also don’t hold a very high opinion about converts. What good are they? If someone’s faith could be shaken so easily, then something is wrong somewhere.
I can’t say I admire that woman’s guts. I think it was stupid on her part to even thought of such a thing. I don’t even seem to be the kind of person you can get on your side, even if you have all the smart answers in the world. And to think that I might get influenced & then follow someone blindly – that seems to be one hell of a lousy joke. Come to think of it, getting all influenced & following someone for whatever reason…that is more like slavery, to my mind & I have always been against it.
Anyway, this was one lousy story, cause someone tried to crack one lousy joke. And the end result was all lousy. Nevertheless, I think it’s the right time to share with you all this story.

Stoning to death is against Islam

The Stoning sentence is exclusive for the Torah which law only applies to Jews:
Old testament [21.21] And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, so that he die. So shalt thou put evil away from among you, and all Israel shall hear and fear.
God says in Quran that Quran is the new law because the Gospel and Tora were corrupted by men.
[05:49]Judge thou between them by what Allah hath revealed, and follow not their vain desires, but beware of them lest they beguile thee from any of that (teaching) which Allah.
The day when the prescribed penalty for the sin of adultery and fornication was revealed by Allah through His Messenger Muhammad (s.a.s.), all the past Traditions, Rulings, Examples and Directives from the Prophet and/or from all other individuals or societies do stand repealed permanently. To propagate otherwise, would be to place the “Human Law” above the “Law of Allah”, which in Islam is regarded as an unpardonable sin.
STONING TO DEATH IN SAHIH AL-BUKHARI
Below are the three narrations on the penalty of stoning, from the famous book of the Prophetic Traditions and Narrations known as Sahih Al-Bukhari:
Hadith No. 4.829: When a Jew and a Jewess who had committed the illegal sexual intercourse were brought before the Prophet (s.a.s.), he ordered them to be punished according to their Jewish laws that are recorded in the Torah. The couple was stoned to death. This Hadith was narrated by Abdullah bin Umar.
Hadith No. 8.805: A married man from the tribe of Bani Aslam who had committed illegal sexual intercourse and bore witnesses four times against himself was ordered by the Prophet (s.a.s) to be stoned to death.
This Hadith was narrated by Jabir bin Abdullah Al-Ansari.
Hadith No. 8.804: Ash Shaibani narrates that when he asked ‘Abdullah bin Abi Aufa; “Did Allah’s Apostle carry out the penalty of Rajam (i.e., stoning to death)?” He said, “Yes”. When the narrator asked; “Before the revelation of Surah-an-Nur or after it?” He replied, “I don’t know.”
This Hadith is narrated by Ash Shaibani and is repeated one more time under Hadith No. 8: 824
QUR’AN VERSUS HADITH
The Surah-an-Nur (i.e. Chapter 24 of the Qur’an, in which the penalty of flogging is prescribed) was Revealed in or after the sixth year of Prophet’s migration from Mekkah to the city of Medinah. This is confirmed by verses 11 to 20. It is inconceivable that the Prophet, who has been declared by Allah as the best of the examples for Muslims, could have dictated his own edict after the revelation of Surah-an-Nur, which was delivered to mankind through him.
Allah’s Law permits the guilty person to live and remarry (see below). No one has the authority to deprive that God given privilege…
“Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry any, but a woman similarly guilty, or an Unbeliever, nor let any but such a man or an Unbeliever marry such a woman: To the Believers such a thing is forbidden“. Qur’an Surah-an-Nur (24) verse 3.
(This verse 3, follows the verse number 2 in which the penalty is prescribed and it emphasizes the fact that THERE IS NO DEATH PENALTY).

Sectarian Islam tried to revoke the Quranic verses and added something alien to the Quran: namely stoning to death. What is still more terrifying was the allegation of traditionalists who argued that there was a missing link in the Quran that had to be supplemented. According to their account, the verse that treated the stoning to death of the offender accused of adultery did exist but was eaten up by a goat.
In the meantime, we must not forget that all the sects without exception have vindicated this argument. Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Davudi Hanbal, Ibn Maja hold a brief for the existence of rajm. Yet, the retribution for adultery is well explained in the Quran. To introduce a new provision that contradicts the Quran shows the kind of mentality and the degree of faith in the Quran of the traditionalist Islamist.
A hadith falsely ascribed to Caliph Omar states: “People will arise in the future who will deny the existence of rajm. These people will be religious apostates. Had I not feared the people’s allegation that Omar was making additions to the Quran, I would have introduced the rajm verse in the Quran” (Bukhari, Muslim Hudud, Abu Davud).
Not being content with such concoctions, Bukhari says that even monkeys having witnessed an adulterous relation between two monkeys had punished the offenders by stoning them to death. Kurtubi says that at the end of the Sura Ahzab there was a missing verse (namely the verse about rajm) and that it had been omitted by the scribes under Caliph Osman. There was no end to justifications sought to vindicate the existence of rajm.
In our opinion, even this single hadith is enough to argue against the unreliability of the books of Bukhari, Muslim and Abu Davud. According to the mentality of these hadiths, Omar feared public censure more than God.

It was quite unexpected because after quite a few years I had actually finally stopped thinking about it. Surah Noor
I have gathered some verses from Surah Noor. I’ve also noticed that “signs” are being mentioned a number of times in the Holy Quran, which means they are very important.
“A sura that We have sent down
And appointed; and We have sent down
In it signs, clear signs, that haply
You will remember.
The fornicatress & the fornicator –
Scourge each one of then a hundred stripes,
And in the matter of God’s religion
Let no tenderness for them seize you
If you believe in God and the Last Day;
And let a party of the believers
Witness their chastisement.
The fornicator shall marry none but
A fornicatress & an idolatress,
And the fornicatress – none shall marry her
But a fornicator or an idolator;
That is forbidden to the believers.”
Everything has been very clear in this verse. It’s 100 stripes, not the punishment of rajm. Furthermore, it is mentioned that:
“The fornicator shall marry none but
A fornicatress & an idolatress,
And the fornicatress – none shall marry her
But a fornicator or an idolator;
That is forbidden to the believers.”
Naturally when the Quran says that the fornicator could marry none but the fornicatress or an idolatress…it highlights that killing is certainly not the punishment for the person who has committed adultery or fornication. If they are being stoned to death, naturally there won’t be any question of marriage.
When you read further, those who lie & make stories about it, even punishment is recommended for them & their testimony should never be accepted.
“And those who cast it up on women in
Wedlock, & then bring not four witnesses,
Scourge them with eighty stripes, & do not
Accept any testimony of theirs ever; those –
They are the ungodly,
Save such as repent thereafter and
Make amends; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate.
And those who cast it up on their wives
Having no witnesses except themselves,
The testimony of one of them shall be
To testify by God four times that he
Is of the truthful,
And a fifth time, that the curse of
God shall be upon him, if he should
Be of the liars.
It shall avert from her the chastisement
If she testify by God four times that he
Is of the liars,
And a fifth time, that the wrath of
God shall be upon her, if he should
Be of the truthful.
It’s also clearly written that the curse of God will befall upon those who lie.
We have heard this verse a number of times:
“ Corrupt women for corrupt men,
And corrupt men for corrupt women;
Good women for good men,
And good men for good women.”
These lines in Surah Noor highlight that the significance of signs & that God is the supreme source of Light.
“Now We have sent down to you signs
Making all clear, & an example
Of those who passed away before you,
& an admonition for the godfearing.
God is the Light of the heaven & the earth;
The likeness of His Light is as a niche
Wherein is a lamp
(lamp in a glass,
The glass as it were a glittering star)
Kindled from a Blessed Tree,
An olive that is neither of the East nor of the West
Whose oil wellnigh would shine, even if no fire touched it;
Light upon Light;
(God guides to His Light whom He will.)
(And God strikes similitudes for men,
And God has knowledge of everything.)”
Again it is very explicitly written that “God guides to His Light whom He will.”
“And to whomsoever God assigns no light,
No light has he.”
“Now We have sent down signs making all
Clear; God guides whomsoever He will
To a straight path.”
The best thing is to try to understand the words of God. Following individuals & regarding them as someone who has all the answers is not right. I’ve seen that people do this all the time. But it’s their choice. What can we say? Since I wrote that piece on rajm, I thought it was incumbent on me to mention these verses from Surah Noor.

Sluts & Eunuchs
In my write-up “You are not my judges,” I said, “I think men, women, old people, children, eunuchs, sluts, animals – they all have genuine problems.” I don’t know how could I forget teenagers. They have some serious issues & those issues if not tackled properly may acquire the shape of demons later on & fighting your demons is always a big problem. However, I shouldn’t be forgiven for one thing – I didn’t mention that feminists & chauvinist too have problems. In fact, their problem should be everyone’s problem; that is the problem.
I was accused of using the judgmental word slut in my writing. Although the word eunuch too was there in that sentence, but how can any feminist notice that? First of all, relevance is the main thing. At least to me, it is. My topic had nothing to do with sluts. But on my note, I was painted as someone who doesn’t feel sorry for prostitutes. Isn’t it strange people who advocate about judgmental words can be so judgmental themselves! But that’s okay.

I mentioned this passage in one of writings a couple of months ago. Now even if I use the word prostitute or whore, would that change the meaning? It’s the business of flesh. Women are available in the market as commodities & they are being used & then nobody gives a damn. Most importantly, by talking shit & dancing on irrelevant stuff, can we provide respect to these women in the society? The answer is pretty obvious. Still if some people want to bang their heads against the wall, they are most welcome.
Anyway I have been thinking about eunuchs. They too are being forced to lead the same sort of life as sluts. When they are little, some elder eunuch castrates them & so they become a part of the clan. Yeah some are also born that way. They too are humans. They too are suffering. Just like sluts, we can’t feel sorry for each & every eunuch though. But everyone has a story. Yesterday I was talking to my friend on the phone & I mentioned that almost 10 years ago, some of my friends went to Heera Mandi (Diamond Market). I too wanted to go there, but my mom didn’t allow me. My friends saw that even 14 year old were in this business, which is quite depressing, to say the least. We all know that many are forced into this profession & we do feel sorry for them. Again some are born there but some choose it.
However, we are also aware of these high-class prostitutes. In rich families too there are characters who charge men & they have it for fun…I think I should use the word lust here. Even if it sounds judgmental, this is the only word I could think of. Nobody calls it judgmental when we use it for men. Anyway, some practice this profession for good money. I do feel sorry for a lot of things, but I don’t feel sorry for such women. And I have been thinking that we may feel sorry for every calamity & misfortune, but are we going to change anything by feeling sorry? Again the answer is no. So I really don’t see the point as to why people want everyone to feel sorry for a situation that we can’t even alter.
I have also met people who say that prostitution is the oldest institution. Why do people want to put an end to it? Everyone is entitled to their views. There are some who say that sluts are sexually liberated women, but when they hear of any woman who sleeps with men, they can’t help calling her a slut. We also know that people sleep to go ahead (it happens everywhere, not just the film industry), now some feminist would also want us to feel sorry for these women. According to them, men are responsible for all the badness in this world.
I really don’t have time to fix the blame on anyone. I have seen that people just want to confuse others. I don’t even think the plight of sluts or eunuchs even matters to them, it’s just that they want to act weird or something. The thing is…I don’t see any solution at all. And all I know is that different people suffer in different ways in different places. Everyone has a story & that story could be tragic. How can you tell that the misery of one is greater than that of another?
I was accused of using the judgmental word slut in my writing. Although the word eunuch too was there in that sentence, but how can any feminist notice that? First of all, relevance is the main thing. At least to me, it is. My topic had nothing to do with sluts. But on my note, I was painted as someone who doesn’t feel sorry for prostitutes. Isn’t it strange people who advocate about judgmental words can be so judgmental themselves! But that’s okay.

I mentioned this passage in one of writings a couple of months ago. Now even if I use the word prostitute or whore, would that change the meaning? It’s the business of flesh. Women are available in the market as commodities & they are being used & then nobody gives a damn. Most importantly, by talking shit & dancing on irrelevant stuff, can we provide respect to these women in the society? The answer is pretty obvious. Still if some people want to bang their heads against the wall, they are most welcome.

Jimmy Sheirgill & Barry Pepper

Today I’m going to make innumerable enemies. However, this is not the idea that has inspired me to write down this article. Even when I mind my own business, (which I mostly do, cause I never find anyone even remotely interesting), I’ve seen people turning green. I often wonder why don’t people turn black or start eating rats.
The other day my sister mentioned about fake people in her write-up. Many could actually relate with it, which means they all have met such creatures. A reader also pointed out that these people are themselves victims. Since there are so many complexes, it’s difficult to name one for them. Fake, cunning, mean, selfish, low, jealous people are all around us. The amusing thing is…they also project themselves as nice beings. Maybe there is a need. We understand that.
There are people who know exactly what others must do. As if we give a shit to their advice. Somebody asked me recently that I must not write & think of something else. Just tell me honestly if I ask people to stop shitting for a month, would they do that for me? Of course not. By that I don’t mean writing is like shitting. Anyhow, if others ask someone to stick his/her thumb up his/her ass & rotate it, would that person do that for them? I’m sure you all know the answer. I know I ask very cute & easy questions. Now the question arises: Are we here to make others happy? Others who don’t even mean anything to us. It’s just that they believe in the word self-importance & so they presume they are very important & others too attach significance to what they are saying. The movie (The Others) just came in my mind. Wo kaun hain or was it hum kaun hain? Can’t recall the name of the Indian version of The Others. Somewhere some meaning is hidden in that movie too. Who are you? That is the pertinent question I suppose.
A friend of mine has a community in which anyone can post as long as it is original. She says that it doesn’t matter if you are pathetic at it, please try & submit your work. Here we have someone who can motivate anyone into writing. I knew a lady who used to ask me almost every week to read something that she wrote. It was always unreadable. But that doesn’t mean she shouldn’t write. Since I’m not in touch with her anymore, I’m relieved that I don’t have to read her anymore. But she has the right to say what she wants to say even if she is unreadable. As long as I’m not reading it, Excellent!
Forget about writing. Come to the most favourite sin of the Devil– vanity. I’ve seen that people feel that almost everyone is vain or feeding someone’s vanity is a piece of cake. You must have met people who call you or your photo beautiful even though you look like a ghost of yourself. I don’t know what are they trying to prove. Either they are being so nice, that they want everyone to stay happy or they think everyone is so stupid that he/she doesn’t see something cunning behind that flattering mask. Oscar Wilde told us long time ago that a mask tells us more than a face.
Then there are the sorts who go out of their way to make others feel bad. The sad part is: they usually succeed. The good thing is: they can’t succeed always. Life is happening to everyone. It teaches lessons to everyone. Some people only look cute, they can’t look sly. They are just learning the lessons. You think you can fool all the time, but you can’t hide your true cunning self forever.

Why don’t they rip the real culprits apart & make it a better world?

But you must have seen in movies that painting can drive people nuts. Am I that kind of an artist? If it would create green-eyed monsters in every corner, I might try to act that role as well someday. Just kidding. I don’t have time for such people, but bitching about them is so much fun that I thought of writing it down. If nothing else, at least it would increase 1 post. Maybe this was the only reason. Maybe this is the only reason why I write. Who knows? Nobody lives in my head.
I don’t think I have made any new enemy today. The old ones can stay where they want to stay. It’s amusing to know that they even exist.

Since I’m not an angel, my humor won’t be that nice. Narrow souls cannot dare to admire many things. My humor somehow falls in that category. Usually the world thinks that we, Muslims, live in caves & yank out each others’ hair; we don’t know there is an international language; we don’t know as to what is right & wrong; we can’t hold opinions; we are all illiterate fools. Naturally when they meet individuals who can boldly express themselves, they ask them not to write. I can’t say intellectually, I’m thrilled to hear this. It’s not my job to reduce people to dirt; they can do that themselves; in fact, they are doing this to themselves. There are people who are passionate about writing, singing, dancing, acting, etc. They may not be good at it, but they have the right to do what they want to do…what they believe they must do. We live once. We must live it to the fullest. I just want to say to all the people out there who have been discouraged, demoralized & unjust criticized. If you come across someone who says you must not do this or that, please use your brain cells & think…Maybe you have the spark & they don’t want you to go ahead & touch your dream. This is the reason why I have scribbled this write-up. Oh I know how I write! I don’t need a thousand yes & a stupid no to know where I stand. It’s as simple as that. You can think what you like about it. It matters little to me.

Stoning to death
The question is: Does religion prescribe the punishment of stoning for adultery? The Holy Quran does not prescribe stoning as the punishment for adultery. There is not a single verse in the Quran that mentions the punishment of Rajm. However, the Jewish answer to the question is of course yes. The Old Testament explicitly depicts various adulterous sexual acts & prescribes that those indulging be “put to death.” (Leviticus 20:10-21)
The Arabic word rajm/rajama is similar to the Hebrew word ragam, which means ‘to collect or cast stones.’ But Muslims cling to the punishment of rajm. Naturally the question arises: Why are some Muslims following the Jewish practice & prescribe stoning as the punishment for the sin of adultery? There is not a single verse within the revealed verses of the Quran wherein the penalty of "Stoning to Death” is prescribed by God, for any crime or sin.

Zina includes sexual intercourse between a man and a woman not married to each other. It therefore applies both to adultery (which implies that one or both of the parties are married to a person or persons other than the ones concerned) and to fornication, which, in its strict signification, implies that both parties are unmarried.
Allah's Supreme Law, in Surah Nur (24):
“A Surah which We have sent down and which We have ordained: In it have We sent down Clear Signs, in order that ye may receive admonition.” 24: 1
“The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication, -- flog each of them with a hundred stripes; Let not compassion move you in their case, in a matter prescribed by Allah, if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: And let a party of the Believers witness their punishment.” 24: 2
As we can see…Rajm (stoning to death) is no where mentioned in the Quran. In fact, it contradicts Quranic verses. Haidth which mentions this mode of punishment are very ambiguous and if there is Hadith which contradicts the Quranic injuction must be rejected as inauthentic. It is clearly mentioned in the Quran that punishment of the Married slave women (who was slave before getting married) would half that of a married free woman. So it is evident that there can be no half of "stoning to death”. Punishment for the adultery is 100 lashes which is clearly mentioned in the Quran and there is distinction of married or unmarried there.
We must bear in mind that it’s the Quran that is primary source of Islamic laws and not Hadith especially when it contradicts the categorical Quranic injunction. Holy Prophet(PBUH) himself has said that if you find anything in the Hadith that contradicts the Quran, throw that Hadith on the Wall. And Hadith were compiled 200 years after the death of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
Night At The Museum 2: Battle Of The Smithsonian
Night at the Museum was one of the nicer movies that I had watched. Now, Night At The Museum 2 - Battle of the Smithsonian has been released. This time with an even bigger set and more characters coming to life. The first movie was set in one place - one museum in which animals and other ceatures to life. While the sequel is set in 5 different museums and the stuff coming to life is far larger.
But as I was reading the reviews mostly people have said that they didn't like the sequel as much as the first one although Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and others have acted well. Probably, it is not so funny as the first one. I haven't seen this one as yet to decide if it's good or not. I have a feeling the 1st part was better. But anyway, will still watch it once at least.

I was looking for this song "Chand Se Chehro" by the band Rage for sometime now. I really like the lyrics of this song. It's quite a touchy song with a soothing music. Don't know whatever happened with this band becaue haven't seen them do anything recently, but this was surely a good song of theirs.

Lucy Gordon left 2 suicide notes before hanging herself in the flat that she shared with her boyfriend in Paris. Gordon was 28 year old & she played the role of a reporter in Spider-Man 3. Her father said that the post-mortem has proved that she died from hanging herself.
Lucy Gordon’s suicide reminds me of Heath Ledger & Nafisa Joseph. Strangely Heath Ledger too was 28 year old at the time of his death. “He was found dead, face-down and naked at the foot of his bed in his rented SoHo apartment in Manhattan. There were prescription drugs, including sleeping pills, by his bed.” There have been speculations about suicide but no one is sure as to what killed him. His death was a huge loss. And we are all sorry for that. He had the potential to become a legend. He was one of the most talented artists.
I don’t know if people remember Nafisa. She used to be a VJ on MTV. Nafisa was the youngest participant in Miss Indian pageant in 1997. She hanged herself in her flat in Mumbia in 2004. This is what I’d like to share with you guys:
“She was to marry businessman Gautam Khanduja in a few weeks' time. According to her parents, Joseph took the step because her marriage was called off. This was due to Joseph having discovered that Khanduja was still married, although having told her he had been divorced for two years. When confronted, Khanduja refused to answer questions about his marital life or produce divorce papers that he had previously claimed he had filed. Instead, press reports at the time mention that he then threatened her with blackmail, probably after she threatened to confront his wife.
Joseph's parents filed a police report accusing her fiancé of abetting her death, claiming that Khanduja had been desperate to get out of the wedding for some time, and sought his custodial interrogation. In November 2005, the trial against Khanduja was stayed by the Bombay High Court until January 2006. The Supreme Court ordered that the case be put on a fast-track court, but as of March 2006, the case was yet to come up for hearing.
Khanduja claimed that there was no evidence to prove that breaking off the engagement had led to Joseph's suicide. He pointed out that Joseph's earlier engagements to Sameer Malhotra and Sameer Soni had also ended.
One year after Joseph's death, her friend and co-star in the television serial C.A.T.S, actress and model Kuljeet Randhawa also committed suicide while in her late 20s.”
Well something really terrible happens, when one thinks of taking his/her life. Hanging yourself seems like such a torture, but one who has been through a lot would do that. Taking pills when you can’t sleep at all & somehow you take so many that you end up dying sounds sad but it happens. In fact, Marilyn Monroe also comes in my mind. This lady’s death has always been shrouded in a mystery & how she was being used by big shots.
Such young & talented people put an end to their lives…This is bad news for all of us. We have been around & even ordinary people go on committing suicide…something is wrong somewhere. People don’t mind playing the role of bitches & assholes, & hurting others with their words & deeds as much as they can, but we never see anyone rescuing life. Life which is always taken for granted. Life which is too cheap for everyone.
You know if we could save one life, that would be more than enough. That would be 100 % success. Sometimes I do get carried away. However, I’m never sorry for that.
Slavery In The Name Of Love!
Can love really be destructive? Can it cause an absolute blockage in your brain cells. And then all you're left with is some confused thought...If things would have been different, it would be so much better. If only this wouldn't have happened, life would have been just the way it was planned.
I do believe in love and that it does exist, if not largely but in some capacity somewhere. Genuine love is rare though but I am sure it still is out there. Otherwise, this world would be so doomed a long time ago. The only reason why things are going on is because evil has not conquered it all completely.
Anyway, so can love be so deadly? Honestly speaking, I know many people who were madly in love and it all seemed perfect but they had a terribe end to everything. Then there were a few who even settled down and now it all looks so vain. Some realize it and some aren't even aware of the situation. That's how they are just passing each day without facing the truth.
What is worse is when I see some people who were so crazily in love (or as they claimed) before they got married, are so dishonest with each other now. Like I know a few guys who just sleep around for pleasure with other females and their wives are aware of it but they are cool about it because they feel at the end of the day, the man will come back home. And things are just fine.
I do understand that some relationships don't work out and the love ultimately fades away and then people move on...but when I see people proving to everyone that there is so much love when actually it's just an act, it just doesn't seem worth it. It destroys the very meaning of love and relationships.
A couple of us friends were having a discussion some days ago when we met after a long time on how love actually ruined this very smart guy's life. The guy was quite intelligent and was doing great in his career but just because he fell for the wrong woman at the wrong time, he was no longer the same man. And, now he can't leave her and she in turn is just making his life miserable. Such a stuck up situation.
Lastly, I was quite sad to see how one of my dear friends also fell for someone who is just treating him like a dog. Although I couldn't believe how he, of all the people could take all the crap. But, actually he is, and he is nothing less than a slave! And I am sure pretty soon he will be hooked for life and this slavery forever! And I would have to get nice clothes for his wedding to celebrate his slavery.
So, I am not really sure where that genuine love or feelings have gone...but they are definitely lost. And I still feel it's out there and if one is lucky enough it would come his/her way. However, I don't want to see any more slavery in the name of love ... it just spoils the entire idea of being in love. But this is such wishful thinking.

Kareena & Akshay’s kissing scene
In Kambhakt Ishq, Akshay & Kareena have done one steamy kissing scene. They were both hesitant to kiss, but they are thorough professionals & no stunt is impossible for them. You won’t see this kissing scene in the promos though.
Up till now Kareena has kissed Fardeen Khan in Dev (which was one lousy kiss...no they were small kisses I suppose), Shahid Kapoor in Jab we met & Saif in Jehaad. We have heard a lot about this kissing in Jehaad.
I’m very sorry to say, but I’ve never enjoyed watching these Indian kissing scenes. It always seems as if both the parties are dying to kiss. No one looks nice or even remotely sexy. It only seems gross.
It reminds me of the sensational kissing scene between Aamir Khan & Karishma Kapoor in Raja Hindustani. Oh man it was so sensational that it used to elongate in their memories! And I don’t want to say anything cruel about Pooja Bhatt’s kissing scenes. They were worst thing that happened to humanity. I just hope it never happens again.
So far as John & Bipasha are concerned, I waited for their movie Jism like anything but when I saw it, I was like what the hell! When I saw Race, I couldn’t understand why people were so excited. Haven’t they seen better stuff? Or maybe they aren’t aware of it.

Since I posted that note on women, I couldn’t help thinking as to what women have to say about men & sex. I have gathered some lines by Shobha De. I think she is a very honest writer. Again this is just a viewpoint. No one has to go mad.

Terminator Salvation
I have been such a huge fan of Terminator since I was kid. I can watch it over and over again even today. I used to love watching all Arnold Schwarzenegger movies. I think I still do. And I remember I was in 3rd grade when T-2 was released and I came back from school and watched it in one go and loved it although I still feel it was very long. And the best thing was the other more advanced machine T-1000. It all seemed so cool then.
But the third part was just such a bore. The female machine was so unneccessary. The entire part was a drag absolutely.
I didn't know that now another sequel is coming up Terminator Salvation in which Christian Bale will be the grown John Conner. Now, the story will be what's going to happen in the future and how the boy will save the world. Since I really like Christian Bale I am gonna watch this part for sure. I hope it's nothing like the boring 3rd part.

In the movie, Inglorious Basterds (yeah that’s the spelling), Brad Pitt plays the role of a lieutenant. He organizes a group of Jewish American soldiers to take brutal retribution against the Nazis. The cast also includes Eli Roth, Diane Kruger, Michael Fassbender & Mike Myers.
Scientists debunk ‘Angels & Demons’ antimatter. Rolf-Dieter Heuer, the director general of CERN said that “antimatter atoms exist, but it’s very difficult to make them.” In the book, a quarter gram of antimatter was thought to be the equivalent of 5,000 tonnes of dynamite which was enough to wipe out everything within half a mile or so. Although the number is correct, but it’s not likely to be used in any bomb. “It would take us a billions of years to produce the amount which is used in the film” Heuer said.
The 29 year old British actress Lucy Gordon committed suicide in Paris. She played a role in Spider-Man 3. According to the report, she hanged herself in a flat she shared with a boyfriend who raised the alarm.
The memoir ‘Papa Hemingway’ which is about the last 14 years of the American writer Ernest Hemingway’s life will be scripted for film by Kirk Ellis. The book was written by AE Hotchner & it relates his relationship with the author. Hotchner was a good friend of the author. The film will be produced by Playtone – Tom Hank’s company.

Animal abuse
Yesterday we went to the clinic for our cat’s surgery. We saw this poor cat in the cage & she has been deserted by her owner. This cat has fits every now & then; she is in a pretty bad shape. It won’t be incorrect to say that: she looks something like a cat. Her eyes only show pain & she’s extremely thin. She has lost a lot of hair. According to the vet, her condition won’t improve & sooner or later, she ought to be put down. The vet has not yet euthanized the cat, cause she’s eating on her own now, which she wasn’t when she was left at the clinic for good.
Many a time, people get attracted by cute kittens & puppies, & keep them for a while. Since there is no sense of responsibility, these pets are being abandoned later on. Cats & dogs are being killed on the road every day. It doesn’t seem to prick anybody’s conscience. And if you talk about it, you’re mad.
Anyway, it reminds me of another terrible story of a Persian cat & her breed conscious owners. Both these guys adopted her so that they can sell her kittens. She used to have kids almost every 5 months. They did earn a lot while she could produce. A time came when she started staying ill most of the time. The cat was also having problems in her delivery. During her last pregnancy, the vet forewarned these guys that it is serious & they should think about aborting the kids or the cat might die. Obviously they didn’t show any interest whatsoever. She had a surgery & all her kittens were dead. The vet asked the guys if he should remove the uterus, which was deteriorated beyond repair, as it might kill the cat in the long run & now she cannot have babies. The guys said that it would be no use to remove the uterus as the cat is useless for them, cause she can’t produce babies anymore. After 2 days, the cat died.
I think it’s a gruesome case of abuse, beyond any reasonable doubt. Although she was a pet, but she was being used like anything. Or should I say she was some sort of business? As long as these guys could earn the profit, everything was fine. Isn’t it strange you are earning & yet you don’t care for the life that’s providing the money?
Those who care about animals would care about them no matter what. And those who abuse animals & take them for granted won’t change either. Anyhow, the act of hurting animals speaks volumes about the ugly nature of humans.
