Market Visit Shattering Dreams

I had my divine plans of sleeping like a baby for 16 hours may be on Saturday. Like this was all I wanted. It was all I looked forward to. I waited for Friday night just so that I could sleep well.

Once upon a time somebody I knew used to give a lot of attention to sleep. He would end all conversation because he believed having proper sleep is damn important. It is a blessing.

Well, today I completely agree with him. I haven't told him this as yet. But yes so I believe. And I hardly get to sleep as much as I would want to.

Today I was so enjoying the bliss when Ammi started shouting "utho utho utho jana nahi hai utho utho utho" And I was like it's Saturday - no work today. And then I got to know her own plans...oh how I dreaded it all. Nadzy was looking forward to it. She even woke up in 2 minutes. And talked to me too making it worse for me to linger on to my lovely dream.

Mommy's plan - that bloody bank visit...followed by the electric appliance market where we walked and walked in the hot sunny day looking for a new oven. We selected one after the meticulous market survey. Then the stopover at home till the guys delivered it and installed it. Next we went to the area Ammi so loves. She says she can't shop nowhere except her favorite old area where she spent 20 years. It seems she has this comfort, this strange sort of peace when she is in the vicinity and an exciting energy to go on till she is there.

Today was just not my shopping day. I was probably not in the mood to buy things today. So, I wasn't looking forward to anything as such. Ammi and Nadzy wanted to shop - so they shopped and I watched. I did buy 2 slippers in between. But that was it.

Ammi bought some clothes too from the shop which I no longer find good enough to buy stuff from. Next stop was Park Towers on Nadzy's insistence though I don't find it also pretty useless. I even took a few pics near our old house...the old house looks pathetic - all haunted. But seems like the folks have actually figured a way to make some bucks out of it now.

Ammi had lost her energy and interest by now as explained before. Park Towers is just nothing but a commercial zone with activities going on all the time. It was Loreal's thing today. And Nadzy did buy stuff. She even got the yellow shirt I picked up but then I lost most of the interest when I saw Ammi's bored face. I just wanted food by then.

So we did have food. And everything is done from the market visit to the shopping...it's just that I so dread that the good divine sleep was disturbed. And I am damn tired yet I can't sleep now.
